I think April 26th or something like that bottle date.... there was a post on Casey's FB page about Saison & East Bank possibly being awhile because he needed more room for the fruited stuff this fall for harvest season, and most of the saison was going into the Fruit Stand and Family Preserve beers, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Glad you were able to find one, but this shit is troublesome because he's not supposed to be selling those beers - he didn't buy them from Troy and the way he's re-selling is illegal.

So just curious, what size of bottles do Casey's beer come in, and what should I expect to pay for them?

    750 ml. $16-$36 each.

Saison, East Bank, Low End, etc are around $16-17.
    Fruit Stand beers are $20.
Oak Theory and Dry Hopped Oak Theory are $24.
    Family Preserves beers are $30.
    The Cut is $36.

    $36 for a bottle of beer? That's what, 5-6% abv? I'm out.

Unless you are planning to drive out to a release, you don't really have the opportunity to be "in" on that beer anyways.

And if you DO go to a release, I'll gladly take-over your allocation of any Cuts that you don't want to buy.

With tax, East Bank was $20 and Cherry Fruit Stand was $25 yesterday downtown.

Warehouse Liquors has a few bottles of Cherry Fruit Stand left, as well as East Bank.

Who cares? You are on a web site that has a whole forum that is based on illegally shipping beer, why does some cat illegally selling beer bother you?

    Several reasons:
    1. He bought those bottles retail at another liquor store and is selling them at a gross markup without Troy's permission.
    2. That markup undercuts the cost that Troy is trying to keep his beers at (affordable to the consumer) which gives purchasers whk don't know that a false sense of what Casey beers should cost and could anger then at Troy unfairly.
    3. Selling those bottles illegally hurts other shops who are trying to do things the right way. The shops in Denver who sell Casey beers do so because they've formed personal relationships with Troy and personally attend releases. I live in Colorado Springs and the bottle shop I frequent does things the right way but now their chances of getting Casey is seriously compromised.

Yeah, I was going based off the prices at releases. They're a couple bucks higher in Denver this week.

    1. Again, who cares? People buy beer Troy's beer and trade it to people out of state at a premium, what's the difference?
    2. Really? You are worried that people will get mad and possibly buy Casey beer? Read this thread, that isnt gonna happen. Affordable is debatable and not important, these are high dollar beers at the regular price. I doubt people who don't know are buying $30 bottles of beer.
    3. Why is this important, how does it hurt them? Why is their chance compromised?

One could argue that they are actually helping by exposing more people to Casey beer who wouldn't have been without their operation. It all just seems a little silly to me to waste time caring about this.

All of the things in life for a sjw to be triggered by this seems trifling.

'Cause not everyone trades it. I sense the thread veering off-topic, but I think the concern is that people who play by the rules could potentially be hurt by the actions of a small minority potentially willing to bend them.

Anyway, I think we probably all agree that seeing Casey's beers more-accessible in the front range is--and would be--awesome.

Please. Your analogy was a bad one to begin with and you seem to lack a fundamental understanding of the difference between a consumer and a for-profit business.
