Here is the label for the upcoming new Winter seasonal from Boulevard called Snow & Tell, which is an oak-aged Scotch Ale. This beer will clock in at 6.3%abv and will come packaged in 12oz bottles (presumably six packs). Can't wait for this new malty offering from Boulevard, who have really been killing it this year with all their new releases. From looking at their release schedule, we should see this on shelves in November.

I'm sure you've had the many Bourbon barrel Scotch Ales: Backwoods Bastard, Central Waters, Thirsty Dog, etc.....all incredible!

If it already exists please correct me...but im still waiting for a scotch ale made in the BCBBW style. Bourbon barrels used to age an imperial stout, then emptied out for the scotch ale

I believe Schlafly did just this. It had a cool story behind it and everything - something about the owner of Schlafly has an uncle who grows barley over there so they used that in the grain bill and sourced barrels from a scotch distillery down the road from where his uncle lives in Scotland. I'm sure I'm butchering the story but it's something along those lines.

Founder's Dirty Bastard is a good readily available one too, best with a little time on it imo.
