The premise of this thread is to gather what do you like least and what could be improved up?

For me, it is a couple of things.

Brewers charging more and giving less : im looking at you green flash and others who used to sell their beer in 6 packs, went to 4 packs but didnt adjust the pricing

Overhopping of styles not meant to be hopped. This annoys me to no end, the damned obsession with hops. Stop the insanity already

Trying to 'imperialize' styles that weren't meant for it, ie a pilsener.

What I like the least is the holier than thou snobby douchebaggery of a few bad eggs who think they are the most beer educated person in the world and the rest of us mere mortals are dipshits.

Ok I'm off my soapbox now. Carry on.

Availability. Not all of us are into the trading scene; therefore, certain exclusive beers are left to a road trip or beer vacation. In many cases, some never get to try that "super hyped" beer. In my case, if I want something bad enough, I go get it. That's just not a reality for everyone.

Prices. Beers that are locally made shouldn't cost more than imports.
And then there are some craft beer people, those who think that anything not "craft" is crap, or anything they don't like is crap. Beer that you don't like is simply beer that you don't like. Not everyone has to have the same tastes as you.

    Freshness problems, especially no dating.

    Localism/Locavorism "movement".

Cluster of problems due to growth - limited releases, lines, allocations, truck chasers, etc. Yes I would trade nearly all of the newer breweries in order to have the much leaner craft beer community of the late 90's or early 00's.

I agree that a change like this can be annoying, but unfortunately I think it is just how things might be. From what I believe I've read here and elsewhere, a brewery will average out certain overhad costs against their normal lineup so that most of their beers fall within a certain range of pricing. I believe when a certain beer in particular becomes to close to the margin due to increasing ingrident prices that this is one of the options the breweries have - or they could just increase the price overall for that six pack. Yes, it is annoying to us as a consumer, but breweries are a business and have to make tough decisions sometimes. And we as consumers can chose whether to continue buying that product or not at the new price/format.

This, but also the flipside where if you express a quality you like/dislike about a beer/brewer/shop you can be viewed as being part of the snobby douchbaggery. Really, I just like to talk about beer and try new things. If I don't say "I like ___" then how does a bartender/shopowner etc. know what to recommend to me? I just don't want to be lumped into that group.

Those store owners who won't help you out when asked about new craft stock yet are quick to jump up and tell the bottle bringers about the newest fruity malt liquor.

    This.

I'm really irked when I see the euphoria in some folks' eyes when they get something rare/hard to get. And then immediately take out their phones to let everyone know.

I'd love to see an fMRI of their brains as its all happening.

Many people are of course happy to try the beer. Many others appear as if Reebok Pumps just came out and they were the first in their class to get them.

30 second online bottle releases held on web sites that are incapable of handling the load, resulting in lost orders only to see it sold out on your next attempt, followed by people after you getting orders filled.

Lotteries are a better option, IMO
