The suspense is killing me. I just want to know.

2015 Golden Ale looks to be the next R&D. If you're going to GABF you'll get a sneak peek. The reviews should give a good gauge as to how fast it disappears when released as well.

Very interesting. This was one of Dan's all-time favorite beers, so I'm happy to see it will be back.

If this is in fact the R&D and not a surprise Thumbprint, the fact that it isn't a sour should ease the crush on the release day, even with great reviews.

Many conflicting stories seem to come out of the hard hat tour but this is the first evidence that it is a strong possibility/probably the next R&D. But if you're looking for a pat on the back ....pat, pat. You were on the accurate hard hat tour

My apologies then, for implying that your breaking news was at least a month-and-a-half old.

I was under the impression that information has been heavily conflicted and never confirmed.

Short of having bottles in hand I'm not sure what kind of confirmation you're looking for, but you're certainly welcome to believe or disbelieve as you choose. That's why "FWIW".

NG typically posts a picture of the label at some point before the release. That's basically the only true validation.
Going by the previous announcements, that's probably due sometime next week. The GABF might change that pattern though. Regardless, give it a few more days and we'll know more.

I've been at all 3 releases, so far (obviously) BBBB was the busiest. There have been no "crushes." It's seriously stupid laid back. You could have showed up at 10 for almost every single one and gotten your allocation. I'm not driving no where near as early for this one. I mean the line moves so frikin fast who even cares? I love this week day release because most people are working and hold off till the weekend. NG is killing it. I just want some more fruited sours though!

Anyone check out untappd? People have been checking in "r and d golden ale 2015" and "r and d vintage 2015" there is a pic with a recent checkin under the r and d wild barrel. But only one rand d left this year so it's interesting to see that

They have the vintage 15 listed as a gose on untapped...interesting. Could the Golden Ale be a thumbprint?

Even when it's out there they keep us guessing!

It seemed like people were pretty positive before it was going to be Vintage 15. It seems kinda weak to do a golden brett. I'd love a double release but my funds are already fucked from the central waters release that saturday... uggg. If I win the upland lottery I'm straight up broke. ISO CASH

Just hung up the phone with NG. Pretty disappointed. It appears the next r&d for sure is golden ale :slight_frown: the vintage 2015 is an r&d too she said but was just brought to the event and won't be actually released until next year. Only and final thumbprint of the year is late November a "stout" 10 bucks a bottle for a golden ale and of the 11 ratings on untappd being all around 3 stars makes me regret taking off all 3 days of work. Might be the first release I go one day and that's that.

The previous R&D Golden Ale went all Band-Aid-ey as it aged, but I thought it was definitely a great beer when it was released. I'm hoping that the limit is more than 2 bottle per person per day, given that the 2009 release was 160 Bbl.
