What's your favorite macro?

Wow. Now there's a question. If the only beer you were allowed to have were three AB-Inbev shelf beers what would they be? Damn. That's a tough one. I'd have to think on that.

 

There's nothing like an ice cold 40 oz of Colt 45. I always feel like I should shoot dice in an alley when I drink them.

also, olde english for malt liquor if i'm feeling really grimey. however, i only find myself drinking malt liquor a couple times a year these days just for old times sake.

 

I like to git up outta bed in the morning (noon), grab me a can of Busch Light, walk outside, sit down in my lawn chair out front of my trailer, and remember how good my pickup truck used to run but now is broken down parked on my front lawn. I finish my first can, toss it on the ground and go on in and grab another while wondering what day it is and counting down the days until I git my government check in the mail. I spend the next few hours crushing good ol BLs and watching car racin and reruns of game shows. By about 5, I'm shitfaced and throw a pot of Ramen on the stove for dinner. After dinner, I hop on the ol John Deer and ride on up to the corner store (while drinking of course!) and git me another case of goodness. Have a couple more on the ride home, sit around and have a few more until I pass out. Livin the life! Thank you Busch Light!

I guess your right. I would have wrote AAL if I didn't respond to the thread myself. But seeing as I lumped my beer in with everyone else's I felt it was OK to call them crap. I don't usually criticize what others drink. Openly.

 

Miller Lite for hot weather, Yuengling for cooler. Busch Lite also works.

 

I'm thinking I might have to revisit this one. Had it for the first time many years ago while on a hiking / camping trip in northern Maine. Seemed perfect for the setting at the time, but for some reason I haven't had it since then. I may pick up a single at the grocery store tomorrow. (And rearrange fridge turds to make room for it.)

 

Is Grain Belt a "macro"?

Even if it's not, it's within the same style; I pick that beer.

 

Bud Select. I'm sure I'll have to give back my BA geek club card, but I love the dry finish of bud light (when the mood strikes). So take bud light, subtract 20 calories and higher abv? Sign me up. I prefer bottles, but in my area, cases of bud select bottles are an on premise package.

The real fun of bud select is that I know people who think it's some special employee only amazing beer...the funks when I tell them I'll get the special beer stocked in a store near them and then they go find it and think I'm some beer magician. All in good fun though.
