7.4% alcohol. Sold in 2015 for a one-time offering. Brewed in Minnesota.

Don't normally drink this early, but this stew only needs about 8 oz...so my hand is forced.

    Not bad.

Is that another beer glass on the sippy cup stand? I'm beginning to wonder if you got it for yourself. :stuck_out_tongue:

The rain made for an early day, so I guess I'll just have to take advantage of a quiet house and get this party started by myself. :grinning: Cheers!

IMO, this is a great pumpkin beer. There was surprisingly the right amount of spices.

I later washed it down with this, pumpkin spiced donut. Or was it the other way around...

    A session sour perhaps.

    Review :

    3.56/5 rDev -3.5%
    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.25 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

    Served in a tulip.

A : A light straw colored body, 90% transparent, with a towering fluffy white head. Hills of lace which adhere to the head are left behind on the sides of the glass as it recedes.

S : Yeast strains, wheat, baked grains, and faint citrus fruit skin. It really smells like an adjunct lager.

T : The sour punch does come out immediately, with some wild yeast flavors going on and a finish of baked pumpernickel. Throughout the flavor profile it's high on the grain bill. Low hop flavor. Lots of lactic.

F : Light bodied, crisp, tart, done. It's not much to write about, but its adequate.

O : I don't know how much this sells for - my bottle was $1.99. If this was as cheap as an American Adjunct Lager and it came in 12 packs or larger at the same price as a macro beer, I'd buy them in an instant to replace the American Adjunct Lager selection in my fridge. That being said, it practically tastes like an AAL with some wild yeast and lactic acid. It's not real great, but if they're charging $12 a six pack for this, it's a real rip off.

Tastings at Lost Nation Tap room in Morrisville, VT. They have some great options. Sipping on the Petit Ardennes now.

Seems that everyone is getting to day off to a great start, I might as well too.

Uh oh ... that first beer went down waaaaaay too easy. The shape of things to come for Jeeper, perhaps? Oh well, time for an Oktoberfest while my DoppelSticky chills. This one is pretty tasty indeed.

    Greetings BA's!
Had a fantastic anniversary trip to the Niobrara National Scenic River area. Who would've thought this place existed in Nebraska?

First time kayaking was a resounding success, so now we can look into purchasing the equipment for future times.

One thing they didn't have up there was a good beer selection. The one six pack of Empyrean Sweet Stout we bought was infected. That was also a first for me. So, as we're going over the pictures it's time to get back into the groove. Hadn't tried this one before, definitely enjoying it.

    Cheers all!
