So...the attendee list for the 10/17 Pumpkin tasting is growing as is the list of Pumpkin Beers! Seriously, if it's considered a good pumpkin beer (by those that enjoy them) then I hopefully will have it there!

@Houser @zekeman17 and @Dave_Treat are rumored to be making the trip! In fact @Houser has threatened to wear an Eagles jersey as payback for the Terrible Towel I left in his house and @LehighAce06 stole, moved, and won something for........but I digress. If he shows up in that, I said I would happily leave him a 6 pack of Yuengling Lager on the doorstep, but I am fearful that if @TastyDelicousness hears about that, he may crank up the FIBMobile and steal it!

 

The ONLY thing I don't like about that post is because it's the 6th one, @TastyDelicousness might not receive a notification for being tagged (two are for Houser, so maybe he will, not sure how the 'first 5' thing works exactly)

Very slim odds that I can make this happen, but I'm taking a close look at it to see if I can make it work. Definitely interested in Blackberry and at least one other from this release, so if you have extras lined up, definitely let me know... would love to try to figure something out. Thanks for pointing me here, Nick... I don't drop by nearly as much as I should.

Yeah, I was pretty hype about it. Opened it with a couple other guys at a small impromptu share, but the crowler had about 1" of head space and I think that open volume + time had conspired to oxidize the coffee flavors into a combination of earthy "green" coffee and green pepper notes. I think it was a shadow of itself, although it showed promise that made me want to try it again if it's released in the future.

 

This is the one bad thing about crowlers. If filled all the way to the top OR not kept around long they're amazing, but that's a fatal combo.

 

I don't even think I'm keeping my bottles, so there's very little chance I'll have extras unfortunately. I'm going to hang out with friends, bottle share in line, try some stuff on tap, and grab bottles for a friend. If for some reason I can get more than one set though, I'll let you know!

Haha that would add 80 miles and over an hour to my trip!

 

If there's one thing I know about @Mipper, it'd be the best use of an hour you'll have all month, including being at your destination.

Actually this is pretty accurate, I'm just ornery this afternoon.
I'm still working on the compromises but it's looking like a good chance I'll be there. Planning on swinging past @Houser 's house and throwing a burlap sack over his head and kidnapping him for a few hours.

 

I don't know how badly @Houser needs to be kidnapped to make it there, but I know I could really use this "service"
