Another vote for Miller High Life. I agree sometimes you don't want a hop bomb, MLH is about the only "macro" that I will buy regularly.

Bud Light, wicked cold. Like water with the essence of beer. Usually when I'm meeting up with a non craft friend at a non craft bar. Nothing wrong with putting a few back. As a matter of fact, I'll probably knock down a few tonight since I need to have a quick sit down with a guy at this dive in town.

Usually ordered at a Mexican restaurant, Negra Modelo. Every time I get this beer I wonder why I don't drink it more often

Michelob (NOT LIGHT) Golden Draft and ... if one could consider it macro... Hamms Draft. That would be my "lawn mower beer"

    Genesee Cream Ale.

If their Bock was available year-round, though, it'd readily and easily trump their Cream Ale for me.

I think a few people don't understand what macro means...oh well

For me, a cold Miller High Life, Coors Banquet, or Genesee Cream Ale fits the bill.

Within the context of the O.P.'s post methinks you're being too literal @jesskidden.

It's not helpful that both Anheuser-Busch/InBev and Miller Brewing (pre-MillerCoors) have used it in their advertising in the very same context which many 'better beer' drinkers use it, but Macro has indeed come to be construed as a colloquial term for adjunct lager.

Now, my math is off, but Miller Lite itself is close to 6 million barrels. So of the TRUE Macro brands, that's my favorite.

P.S. How many times have I referred to my favorite swill as John Carling's Finest, vice said Black Label? :sunglasses:

    My preferred Adjunct Lagers:

Year round: Yuengling Lord Chesterfield Ale (and yes it is a lager despite the brand name).

    Seasonal: Genny Bock

    Cheers!

PBR is my go to adjunct. It was pretty much the only thing I would drink as a poor student in south GA. When I moved to the big city a year after graduating, the first thing I ordered was a PBR. The bartender said, in a slightly flirty way: "you must be some kind of a hipster huh?" To which I replied "what is a hipster?" She told me people drank PBR to "be cool." It was the first I ever heard that PBR was cool. We drank it because it 25 cents at a college bar. It's always been my go to cheap beer. "Cool" or not.

Went to Montana to visit my family and all I drank was Miller Lite. It hit the spot on a hot summer day.

Coors Light. Will go for High Life if it is in bottles cause they look so nice! MGD if I'm at a White Sox game though!
