Pittsburgh - New Beers & Local Breweries

I've actually only been to Cain's once despite it being a 10 minute drive from me. Another South Hills establishment I should check out?

Regarding my Pittsburgh watering hole travels, The Saloon is 10 minutes in one direction, Shadyside is 20 minutes in the other direction. So only a 10 minute difference. Although I wish I did, I unfortunately do not own have any Tesla made teleporting pad or anything of that nature.

 

Check out their tap list in advance, but, yeah, it's worth a peek. Definitely dig their brunch. Wife and two kids eating, and me with a beer or two and I'm out the door in under/around $30. Nice way to start a Sunday. They have a lot of TVs if you like that sort of thing (I don't especially); if you happen to go in and don't see someone in a Pittsburgh sports jersey of some sort, please alert local authorities.

No, I've used them. But a little piece of me dies each time I do, so I have been limiting usage.

Guess it's just an allergy to the emoticon graphics themselves--the look kind of puss; if for instance, I could pick from surprised Lion-O or sad face Megatron, then I might seek them out more often. Usually when I suspect my comment could be misconstrued, I just "like" the post I'm responding to, as a means to disarm intent.

Additionally, and though it's not a harvest seasonal, Victory is set to release their new Vital IPA in a week or two as well.

 

It's a little darker and sweeter than historic Oktoberfests. Many Oktoberfest beers are like that, though. Doesn't stop me from loving them. I don't give two shits about BJCP style guidelines, so I don't even know why I had to add the style thing in my original comment anyway. Prost!
