TBH, I've been lurking here for information on the brewery (also because I had this 10 year old account linked to an outdated email and didn't have posting privileges). I also used it for updates on where to find cans. I did call, visit, and keep tabs on the places listed on Grimm's post for inside information. Not to mention Carmine Street beers is my after work shop and I follow their fb/gram accounts.

If people are resourceful they will find a way.

Yes, I've been saying this since March when I first tried Tesseract (still think Tesseract is a bit better for my tastes but both are top notch). Kind of annoying that it's impossible to find (in terms of cans for retail) but at least it's relatively easy to find it on draft.

And here steps up Exhibit A ! Welcome!

Lurkers, we know you are reading this, show your face !

1 per person, which I think is awesome. Brings in people who really want to drink it, and probably increases foot traffic in that (very cool) store.

Lurk or not. I'm not trying to horde any cans to myself, just buy some for friends and fam to enjoy. Introduce them to some of the best local beer. Isn't that the point of it all?

    Beermenus was quicker anyway.

My thoughts (not that anyone asked): If you benefit then pay it forward. Some will lurk to trade horde etc and thatll happen regardless cause were all using the same sites and tools to track down releases. This forum exist for US. Screw the leeches.

Huh, they didn't have it yesterday - or maybe that was the night before.

I had the same thought as @SRBush1974 - at 3:15 there were 30,509 views. There've only been 11 posts since then, from 9 different users but there's been almost 300 views to this thread since then. (Tough to say for sure, because there is a serious lag in how those views stats get updated).

I think people are way underestimating the number of lurkers on here.

And, referring to them as "secret spots" is silly - @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales posted every single store who would be expected to get any cans in so it's no secret to anyone. Posting "Spot X has cans right now" just means the folks who run from place to place stocking up are more likely to keep accumulating it.

Agreed, but BM is by no means bullet proof. Some places are spotty with updating, and others, even though they update regularly, post to twitter/instagram/facebook first

I know of at least one spot that now has the beer that was not mentioned by Grimm. But they are a regular account and I knew that because I buy Grimm there.

Yeah, Foodtown Harlem definitely wasn't on that list.

Great now all the transplants are going to realize there is a lovely port town about a 35 minute ferry ride from NYC with a bike trail to the beach and a great local brewery. (Funny you mention that, AH is where I was born).

Looks like Foodtown has just one can left.

When I was there yesterday I bought two cans and they were the last two on the shelf at the time. I think they may not be putting out everything they have at once (something they have done in the past as well). Not saying you're wrong, just that if you left one on the shelf they may put out more later/tomorrow.

Drinking one of these now.... I suck at describing beer, but this beer has an amazing smell, not sure what it is, but smells awesome. Tastes really great also, I think it smells better than it tastes, but that is not a criticism. Afterimage can rank right up there with the hyped up New England beers. Who would have thought a couple of years ago we would have breweries like Other Half, Singlecut and Grimm cranking out awesome IPAs! It was like a wasteland here before that.

Welp this is really good--huge tropical fruits, subtle bitter finish to balance it out. Well done as always, @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales
