First timer. Not a huge fan of Longtrail but this a damn fine enjoyable beer. Crisp, dry, slightly sweet, slightly fruity.
A real quaffer @ 6.8 you could drink quite a few of these. A really nice IPL is what I think it is - though not labeled. Which is also kind of cool. Ya know this tastes what I thought Joint Custody would taste like. IMO THAT beer was a major let down.
This is really good. Bottoms Up! Maybe the Giants will win one tonight to make it all seem better.........[IMG] [IMG]

Well good luck my friend. Tough one to figure . one thing I do know: there's going to be quite a few downed during this one.
And if the G- Men lose there will be some major turmoil in NY. May even see a plane with a banner fly over like in '76!!!!

Bell's The Oracle had limits and wasn't the easiest to find. Good to know, because this is very easy to find and is easily in my top three favorite IIPAs.

Rare night of hitting a local dive but not drinking Bud Light ad promised because they actually have Center of the Universe Pocahoptus on draught

Not a Rebel IPA, just some using another folks' glass I guess.

Earlier today, said hello to an old friend. [IMG]

This afternoon, met a new friend. Knowing the head brewer personally, I can see the Mexican influence on this one. Getting a lot of hot pepper on the smell and taste. Interesting beer.

Thinking about doing a fairly big Thursday Throwdown, at least in my opinion. However, waiting for the girfriend to get home, so popped open a recent purchase and new Flying Dog - India Pale Lager.

Named simply enough, and simply tastes as name implies. Decently hoppy with classic American hop profile. Just a little bit of extra body than a normal lager. Almost seems like a good session IPA, the opening is a little cleaner without being watery, with some crisp malt flavor. Not bad... another decent offering from the Brewhouse Rarities series.

Wow! I grabbed the beer off the shelf the other day (they have a few of these Goose Island bombers from 2012) and it is drinking great. Dried fruit, sweet but not syrupy, yeasty, raspberry candies, and some honey. I really enjoy how the sweetness pairs with the spices in these two Indian dishes (simple leftovers). Cheers some beers!

this was a hella long ass day. and I still have another presentation to get ready for a meeting early tomorrow. at least I'm having lunch at the Tired Hands Fermatorium!

anyway, onto the beers...this one is only okay for me, it just doesn't scream "nelson sauvin hops" to me, reminds me too much of equinox, which is bleearrgghh. it's alright, just not a real winner. I've enjoyed the other beers I've had from Bluejacket though

    Cheers!
