I guess my question would be why is it OK for people to do this with things like BCBS VR or any other limited/brewery only beer but it's not OK for people to do this with a small market beer like Casey? How else are people with no access to these beers supposed get them if trade don't trade them for other things that are tough to come by? In a perfect world, no one would worry about the rarity of beer or the Brewer would make enough for mass distro but we don't live in that world unfortunately.

Sorry, not privy to the ways and workings of Casey Beers - saw it on the counter, asked if it was already promised to anyone else, owner said no, it's yours. Was $20. I'm going to enjoy in nonetheless. Wiser now.....but do I feel like I did anything wrong - hell no!

Small Batch still had quite a few East Bank and Fruit Stand's on the shelf. Not sure how long they'll last.

They'll last quite awhile yet. They're doing high limits on Fruit Stand and East Bank still. I stopped over there an hour ago and grabbed an East Bank and a couple Fruit Stand bottles. Stop over tonight or tomorrow.....it'll be there.

Anybody know if there's a shop in Boulder that sells Casey?

Hazels would be your best (and probably your only) bet.

Sour Sunday was the first time I'd seen Casey sold in any format in Boulder.

Yeah seeing The Cut Montmorency Cherry on that list made my day on Sunday. I'll check out Hazel's, thanks.

I've only seen Biere De Garde (Casey / Aspen collab) in Boulder at Liquor Mart. Think they might have had a couple bottles left as of last week.

But was it the Casey version or the Aspen version? HUGE difference.

Venture to guess the Aspen version. Not the same beer.

Yeah the Biere de Garde I tried a few weeks ago must have been the Aspen version. It was good, not great.

Yep, good call. Definitely the Aspen version.

How sour are the Casey offerings, if you could compare them to something? Super sour or moderatly so?

I am planning on going to Mr. B's today hopefully to get a taste. I imagine I should get there early and stand in line. Would be nice to meet Troy.
