They had them below the counter, which I could see from outside: one can. The gal said they were all out, so who knows.

In recent BK Mag interview with the Grimms they said they would aim to can once a month going forward assuming this batch sold out in one to two weeks. Seeing how it's selling out at many places in one to two *hours*, let's hope they get that canning line fired up soon!

I got the last 2 at Harlem at around 8pm. I called 30 mins before and they told me they had a ton left. When I got there they said they had no more. After me complaining that I literally called 30 mins before two magically appeared (one for me and one for my buddy that came with). At least they had a bottle of helldorado randomly, not sure when that came to NYC. Also eataly is out I was dumb enough to stop there on the way back.

By the way, Afterimage is fantastic, but I think my Mosaic-loving heart might still belong to the one, the only ... Tesseract.

They probably were for reals that time, or the woman at the register just wasn't expecting a finance dbag to call them out ha, one of the two.

I think they put out the cans and bottles a few at a time make sure people dont take too many and to conserve what little shelf space he has for the specialty beers. When i got mine there were only 2 on the shelf and one box of Helldorado (which i too purchased). This was at 10am.

Yeah, when I was there around noon they had just 1 sitting on their shelves. I quickly grabbed it, when another friendly BA (are you on here?) asked me if it was the last one. I said it was the only one on the shelf, but it couldn't hurt to ask. Sure enough, they produced 2 for him, and he told me I should ask for another one. We both walked out happy. Got a 6er of Westbrook Gose too, so not a bad day overall.

When i went to Foodtown i grabbed the can on the shelf and saw the FW, but didnt buy it) and when i went to pay the woman behind the register asked if i wanted another, it was a2-can limit, so she pulled from behind for me.

Overall its a pretty awesome store, one I'm happy is just a few stops up on the subway.

I agree it's pretty awesome and a little of the beaten path, so it's not so picked over. I just don't like when places hide stuff behind the counter. Not everyone is so comfortable asking for that sort of thing, you know?

Grabbed a few cans in Westchester last night, absolutely killer beer. I vote for more New York juice bombs.

I totally agree. When I first found the store it was this past spring when they showed up on Beermenus with Mexican Cake. Once I got up there I didn't see it on the shelves and one of the managers comes out holding a bottle of it in her arms like a baby to ask if I need help finding anything.

    It was pretty strange.

I go back though because it's possibly my favorite uptown store among one or two others based on what's regularly available.

You found it in Westchester last night? Seemed like it was gone nearly immediately everywhere up here.

Haven't heard of anywhere on LI receiving a shipment, outside of the new Craft Beer Cellar location in Port Washington. Pretty sure they are sold out by now...

Just dropped by Gotham Market in Hells Kitchen. Have all their cans out in the fridge. No limit and 5 bucks a can. Just snagged a 6 pack. Go get em!
