That I Can't Believe It's Not Butter is taking up valuable real estate just FYI

I'll be in Philly twice in October and plan to hit Tired Hands at least once. Anyone have a preference of the cafe vs fermentaria? Any other differences beyond the slight variation in taps?

Hit both, they're a five minute walk from each other.

If you are not regularly in the area, you have to do the double. Grilled cheese and bread at the cafe and mostly tacos at the fermentaria. Also except for saisonhands and hophands the tap lists are different.

@DrZeus10 I agree with @TomFoley - just hit up both. They are quite literally about 3-4 blocks apart.

Thanks guys! I may have to break them up into two different trips as I will more than likely venturing over on a Monday or Tues after I land. If I can swing a trip later in the week I will definitely hit both.
    Thanks again!

Only the fermentaria is open mondays and only the cafe on tuesdays. that makes it easier for you.

I definitely agree that the dark stuff (stouts and porters) is the current weak spot for Tired Hands. They are killing it with their hoppy stuff (especially the fruited IPAs) and their farmhouse-style ales. That being said, I had Only Void with Coffee and Cherries last time it was on and it was tremendous.

just got back from my first Fermentaria visit, it was awesome! wish I got the name of the dude serving me at the bar, he was super cool and personable. had a Senseless And Scentless (enjoyed) and an Aloysius (didn't enjoy) with my killer burger lunch. filled 6 growlers (burped them all as per the advice in this thread) and am now about to dive in. highly recommended!!

Brew Cafe is a ghost town, and traffic coming in from the west non-existent....
