Other Half Brewing Thread (Sept 2015)

Wondering the same thing. Bout to drive in from Long Beach. If memory serves me right, I should hit traffic near JFK, on the Belt, and on Ocean Ave.

So I'll be there in 3 hours..

 

Man, I'm up early today... I think I'll head over and see if there's anything left after 12 or so

 

Just did a drive-by since I guessed wrong on traffic from NJ and got over here much earlier than I thought I would. Line looked to be less than halfway to the corner so not bad. I plan on wasting some time and heading over by about 11:30 or so. Should be fine. After all, I have Cantillon to drink at The Ginger Man

 

Mark, did you see the deal with the Cantillon raffles? You can't just purchase bottles unless you win the hourly raffle

 

Shit, really? That's lame. They have them listed on beermenus which is REALLY lame IMO.

 

I believe the raffle is just for vintage/rare Cantillon bottles (I.e. not listed on beer menus)....could be wrong

Line is exactly the same length btw. Pretty much to the McDonald's driveway so again, no far. I estimate a 30-45 wait.

 

Heading that way from Astoria now. Anyone taste Cascade yet? Thoughts? Looking forward to getting my Citra fix in.

Traffic on Belt like usual. They have one lane blocked off around exit 10. Took me a little over an hour. Still looks to be plenty of beer left. Line is crawling.

 

Worth it for the can message alone.

There was a bunch of everything left about 25 mins ago, line was at the door.

Tall stack of each, although Citra looked on the lower side of the 3. Lots of AGE.

 

I get out of work at 6 then heading straight there...should arrive around 7. Even if I strike out on cans at least the tap list is great right now. Can't wait to try that All Brett and the Amarillo which I missed out on because I was sick for the last release

 

Was there this morning, the All Brett Everything is absolutely fantastic.
