Holy SHIT @NJB145 , I completely, honestly forgot about this.... so a while ago I was looking to see if someone could #pickitupformebro (set up a small trade or otherwise) breakside passionfruit sour as I got it in my first locals box last year and loved it. I now know how a "ninja/pickitupformebro" box works. I was originally hoping for 2-3 bottles of this, maybe 4 tops.



Nate sends SIX of them completely unprovoked, as well as a few awesome sounding never hads/should be wants. I am once again floored by the insane generosity of this group, especially at a time where I'm trying very hard to not get into box/beer debt, but let it be known that despite that fact, return fire WILL come eventually in some way.

That might be true, but $50 isn't $60, and that was a larger bottle. $3.55/oz vs $2.27/oz is a 56% increase, that's HUGE.

For those playing the GABF new-ticks game at home, I'm up to 280 at the moment. Today was 138 new beers, with 96 coming from the GABF session (if I'd known I was that close to 100 I would have powered through) and the rest coming from dinner at Lucky Pie and a couple new breweries, Former Future, Grandma's House, and Declaration. Apparently Denver breweries love to have ridiculously long tap lists...

That means that we only have four players left in the game:

Although I'm still not 100% sure I'm making it -- the schedule probably came out last night but it was after I left work and I'm off today, so I'll know for sure tomorrow. I put the request in a bit ago but it was right before they blacklisted it for any additional requests off, so I'm probably right on the cutoff...

Yep, all three of us really though the glasses at Grandma's House were awesome. The whole 'schtick' was really great there, down to the walker against the wall.

I underestimated the amount of ass-kissery that it was going to keep the wife happy. We wound up spending the night at Grandma and Grandpas last night, but I think I'm finally off the hook...

SARA 831 Pale Ale--Delicious, and perfect med ABV Pale for making fantasy football lineup decisions this afternoon--traveled well. Also, my first SARA!
Beachwood Hop Kong Fooey--Sounds great too--have had citraholic, but this will be my second beachwood brew and they seem to know how to do hops very well!
Black Hole Sun RIS--sounds fantastic!
All the Yeast (Highland Park)--Limited anniversary saison!--excited for this one.

Almanac Tequila Noir--mmmm... Tequila.... mmmm.
Russian River Blind Pig--Never had--super excited to try this one!
