I wish I could have sent my Northern Guard "Fuck Ohio" scarf to go along with the sticker. City till I die!

Enjoy your week at the top of the table.

Final on my how-much-damage-can-I-do-to-my-liver-in-one-weekend LIF is 286, meaning that @UTvols05 wins being 14 away. Was really close near the end with @Devman171 being 15 away. A number of factors today conspired to even make this a close call. First I took a bump from my DEN-MKE flight going DEN-ORD-MKE instead, picking up a $500 voucher... Almost took another bump on the ORD-MKE segment, but they ended up not needing me. Then, the place I went to for the evening doesn't do flights... so the 5 beers I had tonight were full pours instead of samplers. But they were pretty damn tasty...

Kyle, a box will be on the way shortly!

Total photos taken by me over the 3 weddings was.......11,534. Yes, my fingers and hands are sore from taking that many!

The winner, closest to my toal, with a guess of 9121, is @Syracuse12 ! Shoot me a message and we'll work on getting you the box, hopefully in person. Thanks everyone!

To be fair, most of these were 1 ounce pours and many were taster trays shared with two other people (though evidently 'taster tray' in Denver means 4-5 ounces pours, and some I swear were 8 ounce pours).

But yeah... it still wasn't a small amount of drinking. Luckily, unlike life, I can handle marathon drink much easier than sprints. Friday was abut 13 hours of near-constant drinking and Saturday was 11 hours... I didn't feel awesome the next mornings, but wasn't horrible either.

As long as it is OK with you, I'd like to forward it along. Being an in state person, I'd like to pass along the nj goodies. Plus, I feel like I'm more in the owing department than the taking department right now. Let's set up a BM, we should see if we can meet for a beer and a handshake anyway.

So, finally caught up with the thread - and pretty much agree with Mike (sorry we never crossed paths to collect that handshake)....

Toughest day was actually Wednesday - went to Great Divide in the afternoon then an event at Falling Rock that had unlimited help yourself pours of: Nelson, Raja, BA Sexual, Sip, NvU, Bomb!, Double Bastard, Gumblehead and more.... The inside taplist was even more ridiculous...

Thursday spent most of the afternoon at Hogshead - some of the best beers I had all week. Traditional English style casks - I would be like Uncle Si with his iced tea glass with their regular bitter - a glass of it would never leave my hand if I worked there. Had lunch downtown then hit up Jagged Mountain - had some barrel aged blackberry saison that was pretty tasty and a 17% stout (just what I needed) It was a fun day at the event - little less crowded, everything was pouring - got to grab first pours of a couple of things I really wanted from the west coast.

Friday spent the afternoon at Denver Beer Co - pretty good brews there, nothing mind blowing but they had a collaboration event going on with a couple of damn good beers.

Saturday's awards were very cool - which made both of Saturday's sessions really easygoing - caught Rare Barrel at a downtime and ran through four of their six taps.

All in all - had a great time - would bang again next year hopefully. Was hoping to bring more beer back - but grabbed a couple. One for me and one for my target - who will be getting their tardy but definitely worth it box this week including a variety of a certain type of beer they've had limited exposure to.

    Smaller breweries impressed me:
    Prison City - NY
    Marble - TX
Noble - CA (had most of their showers series so I was familiar with them - Naughty Sauce was soooooo good)
    Rhinegeist - OH
    Sun King - IN

Also, no lines most of the week at Fremont - was able to catch Lost Abbey a couple of times with no line - walked right up to Sierra Nevada booth on Friday for pours of BA Narwhal, and a couple of varieties of Ovila. Walked right up to Samuel Adams on Saturday as they were pouring full pours of Utopia off to the side.

Sorry for the essay - glad to be caught up.

2 more days - get those miles up! At least 41.7 - that's the cutoff for me to make the next round!

The really ridiculous thing is that even though we both went to a ton of places, there was almost no overlap! Denver is crazy man.

I'd say my favorite non-bottle share (bottle share is just too hard to judge, so much crazy stuff) was BA Snowed In. And that was drunk in between Utopias and Prop, which were both ridiculous. BA Snowed In is legit as shit.

    Thursday:
    Lucky Pie for lunch
World of Beer (Evil Twin tap takeover)
    Ratio
    Our Mutual Friend
    Locals Bottle Share

    Friday:
    Rare Beer
    Star Bar
    Falling Rock
Texas Beerliner (so bummed that they moved it to the Convention Center this year, doesn't remotely have the same feel)

    Saturday:
    GABF Members Session
    Lucky Pie
    Former Future Brewing
    Grandma's House
    Declaration Brewing

Just a reminder, Wednesday is the last day to ship for round se7en. I've been really busy and haven't kept up with the thread so I haven't checked off who has posted hauls and who hasn't. Maybe someone like @Mikexw has?

Either way, don't make your target wait, ship now!

And to follow-up on my previous GABF post, most ridiculous thing I saw at GABF: Small Town and Goose Island were across an aisle from each other (both were endcaps). The line at Small Town was longer than Goose Island. GI was pouring Vanilla Rye at the time (went through twice since it was quick/easy).

Was right around the corner from them for about half of my time (used the power strip at NYF to try and keep a charge on my phone) - gong show. Didn't even mention all the pours of Vanilla I was able to get just by noticing when the line was waning... NYF had a bigger line the ENTIRE time. Alot of great breweries with low to mostly no lines the entire time: Columbus, Captain Lawrence, Drake's, Fremont, Lost Nation, Live Oak, Central Waters, Lost Abbey...
