I'm going to be at New Glarus over Labor Day. Is there any chance the Saison will still be available in bottles? Or another Thumbprint?

When and where did I say I was going to be there? I have no intentions to drive an extra hour or more to get bottles. I am pretty sure that there is going to be enough good beer in Madison this weekend that I don't need to travel further to find some.

    Good for you.

Fair enough. I should've said you're going to be in Madison, so you will have the opportunity to be one of those out of state persons to go to the brewery, spend lots of money, and help them be a successful business.

MY bet would be Saturday would be the best chance for everyone, since everyone will be in line for the Taste! Thursday, hours are too short and I bet it won't even all sell. If they do in fact release cases for Friday they would have the leftover from Thursday. Sunday will be a mess with everyone hitting it on their way out of town. I may go down Saturday before the Taste and still make it to the Taste in time for early entry!!!!

Staghorn is by far my favorite beer NG brews. Been drinking it the last couple days. I'll be picking up a couple cases as well.

Doesn't sound like it was that crazy. As of about 2pm they said they were not sold out. Ppl are getting a little antsy about this one. They are selling 1800 bottles over the course of 4 days with a 2 bottle limit. Even with great taste, this one shouldn't be too hard to get if u show up.

Every day for the next 4 days. Equal amount each day. Sounds like leftovers remain for the next day..

I'm hearing that the beer doesn't look terribly dark in the bottles and the label only reads 'Sour Ale." Maybe not Sour Brown after all?

I heard that a palate of this stuff dropped form the forklift and was ruined.
