    The second half of jaasen64's haul is going out Friday. Hints:

    North of 10%
    From a brewery east of the Mississippi
    There are no growler reviews of it

    (I don't consider this breaking the rules, as I already sent out the first half of the swap. Any objections?)

    Hmmm... I have no idea what it could be, I feel like with those hints it could be a variety of different beers. Just have to wait to find out! Whatever it is I'm sure I will enjoy it! Thanks Granite!

    It's all boxed up, getting it out after work tomorrow(before a weekend of bass fishing)

    Expanding on the earlier hints:

    North of 12%
    From a brewery north of the 43rd parallel
    The beer is not black


    Also, my 9 year old niece saw me boxing up your trade. She asked what I was doing, and I said "Boxing up beer to send to someone." She said, "Oh, ok, well I want to send something too."

    It will be pretty obvious what she added to your box.

    I'm still pretty stumped. Certainly eliminates a lot of breweries though. I'm assuming it's probably from Michigan, Wisconsin, or possibly Minnesotta or Canada. I'm also assuming it's not a stout and probably either a barleywine or strong ale.

    That's very nice of your niece! I definitely appreciate her generosity! I feel like I'm just as curious about that now as the beer.

    I'm definitely posting pics of this one! Sorry I didn't get the pics uploaded on the last one- had some technical, but I'll see if I can include them with this one.

    It's on the way, FedEx says Tuesday, so we'll see what happens. Finals hints until it lands...

    Still not sure, I'm thinking Dark Horse or Kuhnhenn. I don't think Kuhnhenn distributes much outside of Michigan and New York though. I could be completely wrong on those guesses, but those are the only two that are coming to mind.

    Got in GraniteSkunk's 2nd package. It included: a Yazoo growler filled with Double Crooked Tree (Founders glass from last package), a Terrapin Moo-Hoo (one of my favorite milk stouts), and a present from his 9-year old niece- a collaboration beer she did with Coke, it's so new that they haven't even been able to make a label yet and had to cross of the Coke and just put beer. Split the Double Crooked Tree with my roommate before he moved out today to go to Phd school. It was lethal but very delicious. Thanks again Granite!
