I came into a package of this. Anyone use this yeast before?

If so, what'd you make/how'd it turn out/etc?

Feel free to share recipes and/or anecdotes

Entering M27 into the search box yields a few results. @MrOH is a verified M27 pumper. Perhaps he will provide some insight.

tried it a few times, mainly for saisons. its pretty good: tarty, spicy and the beer will come out dry. i would recommend it. maybe not as rich, deep and lively as liquid yeasts, but solid. i prefer this one before belle saison.

I made a Belgian Pale Ale with it this summer.

AWESOME!!!.......Probably one of the most flavorful beers I've ever made. I took advantage of the summer heat I fermented in my garage at 85 plus as that yeast loves warm temps.

I highly recommend if you have the ability to ferment above 75 degrees.

Sorry it took a bit, I was on vacation.
I do really dig the M27. The character is quite a bit more interesting than Belle Saison (the fruitiness pops a bit more), and attenuates just as well. Works well with lots of hopping or spices, if that's your thing. Can't beat it for a dry saison yeast.
