Can tabs are so, for the lack of a better word, BLAH! I was hoping they would do something for the bottlecap lover in all of us. While it's not quite the same, it will appease the collector in me.

I agree, but at least they are spicing them up a little. Maybe they can compromise and reinvent the "oil can" and we can get our caps back?

I have to admit, the new Bud pull-tab looks kinda cool. It is red with a hole resembling their crown logo. If there's one thing they're good at, it's packaging! I've always been a fan of their caps. I have about 50 different Buds alone, not including Light, Ice, etc. I wish every brewery would change it up as often as them!

Someone could tell me which beer is the cap that is in my profile picture?
I gained a friend who lives in Canada.

    According the Crowncaps Index database......

    http://www.crowncaps.info/index.php

following a database search under 'CC.I Crowncap Catalog' / Picture Search option / Man option .... I found the cap you use in your avatar (profile picture) listed as originating from 'Moxie Bottling Co, Bedford, New Hampshire, USA'. The cap is used on soda/soft drinks bottles but not beer. You will notice that the man has a small "M" on his tie. If you search for 'Moxie' on Wikipedia you will also find reference to the Moxie Beverage Company and a similar image of the same man. Hope this helps.
