Beachwood BBQ Beer Releases Thread

Our date stamps are on the side of the label, oriented vertically. Depending on the label color, we go with either white or black ink. We use a standard coding method. For example, August 9, 2015 would read as "080915" on the label. The bottles themselves often have manufacturing date laser etched near the base, which has caused confusion for some. The fill date is what's on the label.

 

Hoping to hit Sourfest for the first time - how crazy will things be midweek and which nights do you all expect to be most crowded at either location?

 

Expect crowds for the entire event at both locations. With the lineup the way it is there really is no soft or off night. It was insane last year and is with anything craft beer related these days, it just gets crazier and crazier. Pick your event and be prepared.

Yeah. The Shelton Brothers and Crooked Stave nights will probably be the biggest shitshows. I can't wait.

 

Surprisingly the Crooked Stave night last year wasn't that bad. I'm hoping people stay home on Allagash night!

 

Sad I'm going to miss the Shelton night :/ Allagash doesn't look so great in terms of lineup, so going to see if I can make it over there for Crooked Stave.

 

Where are you seeing the lineup for Allagash? I've seen the one for the Bruery and Crooked Stave but not Allagash.

3 Fonteinen Framboos? Let the insanity begin

 

Damn... Saturday is going to be crazy...

 

Curious to see how much Framboos is there. Its bottles so I am sure it'll sell out immediately unless the prices are crazy.

 

Anybody know how they handle the bottles at the last sour fest? Do you buy the bottle or is it a bottle pour?

 

It's just a pour and it will probably be limited.

I hope they meant to type out 2011 on the vintage because that would be one hell of a treat.

 

Good eye. You sure know ur vintages. It should read 2011 but I guess they went with the release date instead of the bottle date.

 

Anybody go to the Cascade night at The Blendery? I'm curious to know how it looks
