    I'll throw Saugatuck a bone here. Can't go wrong with Neapolitan Milk Stout or Continuum DIPA.

    I'll also give Jolly Pumpkin another nod. Overlooked way too often.

    But really, these days, Dark Horse and Kuhnhenn just do it for me all the way around.

    I just enjoyed my first Neapolitan tonight and it was a amazing. I expected 1 of the 3 flavors to overpower the others. Best case scenario, I figured the flavors would mesh well but get cloying, but that wasn't the case. All flavors were noticeable and blended well without being overpowering or too sweet. It's up there with some of my Short's favorites that I'll seek out each time I make it to Michigan.

    if your gonna go to new holland check out odd side ales, its pretty close to there and they have some great beers and they like to experiament alot like shorts does. also check out white flame brewery in hudsonville.

    I cant add too much to the list, I havent been there yet but Liberty St in Plymouth is supposed to be decent too.


    Lately I'm loving Kuhnhenns both for proximity and Im loving the DRIPA. Not hat their other beers arent excellent as well.

    didn't check out the whole thread so i may be duplicating here, but Greenbush and Bad Bear really impressed me at beer fest. GB has been getting props for a while now though.

    We have the Porter on tap right now, along with the Walter's Weissen and Porter in bottles...5$ a piece/bomber, fire sale baby!

    Copper Harbor ... man that's WAY up there ... I didn't think even the Yoopers went up that far. How are those winters?
