I don't know of a thread and I'm certainly not part of one... but I did just drop off a box headed down South!

I guy I used to work with combined his and his fiancee's name to make a new name...

 

75 pounds of beer just shipped out. No, I'm not crazy man @whyteboy003 , these were to three different people.


Round 7 target: Sorry for being late, hope you like this. You said you liked barrel aged beers, there are 10 in the box. You had a beer on your wants that I frankly am not a huge fan of... I included it anyway, so hope you like it.

 

I honestly dont know where to start with this but Most of the debris has settled and my porch is still under construction to say the least. My Round Se7evn sender @_RL_ thought this was necessary and without any regards to my house he dropped this sonic boom on me. I see three boxes so im like wtf did I do.....



My dolly didn't work (my 7 y/o) said each boxes weighs more than him, so I grabbed my weight belt and began hauling theses fuckers in the house. First box:



A great start for things to come. Nice freshies, stouts and gose. All are new. Past couple years I've given my BA black out stout away so this one will be enjoyed

Very nice goodies! Yeti, Yeti and more yeti man I love their stuff especially this time of year.

Box 2 had me nevous, yep a bad ass box that I'm not worthy for!!


Seriously Reed!?!? These are also all new beers!! Cant believe your generosity.
Lost abby - *2 Deliverance and a Frambois de Amorosa (WANTS)
Perennial Ales - Pineapple kumquat (1st perennial tick!)
Grassroots - Arctic (love the name of the brewery which is also new
Allagash - Century ales, Midnight Brett, Golden Brett (needless to say all new. Them Bretts aound delish hopefully funky)
Box 3 had me weak in the knees 1. Because how heavy it was 2 being the bottles themselves:

All these are big time wants and blew my mind!!
Casey - cherry fruit stand (no longer a virgin to this brewery) (cheesing from ear to ear)
Pizza Boy - Sunny side up bomber (had this once, a pour from a crowler) premwant duh!
The Bruery - Sucre (new and a want)
Moo-Hoochiato - sounds like breakfast! Heard this was better than the other variants.
Lost Abby - Serpentant stout ( excited to drink this one and age the one I have)
But then you added these which is fucking killer in more than one way obviously!

Velvet Merkin, Stickee Monkey, DBA and Helldorado
along with HF 2013 AND 2014 Nordic Saison!
Was really looking for the '15 Velvet Merkin to do a small vertical with '13 and '14. Crazy your able to read my mind and send this type of box!!
Really out did yourself Reed. A nice thank you will be headed your way. Im really speechless of your benevolence. I said it before as many of you had already, This group is AWESOME!! Again Reed not worthy of this type of box and your a fukin mad mann but thank you very much!!

Finally got to open a box that came this week from @NJB145 for winning an LIF.



Thanks man, a nice box of MI locals to dig into!

I'll be running another LIF of my own once I can round out a few things being released locally. Hope y'all are doing well.

It's a good thing I got this done today (wife's initials) since I had told her I wasn't planning to max her allocation. After I tasted everything and in the heat of the moment when asked "what are you getting?" Instinct made me say "2 allocations."

The look on my wife's face said "just you wait till we get to that one shop in Frisco later...

Wow my porch got straight up bombed today and recieved one the most thoughtful boxes ever for round se7en from @rspauldi. As always the love from Texas is always insane and full of some of my favorites!!


Some of these are exciting new ticks and favorites!!

Wild sour raspberry is one of my favorites ever! And Greg is digging this ***** wagon name and beer and hasn't even touched BL yet.

I was shocked there was even a second box!

And then I died even more.


This is nuts!!! So many JKs I'm excited to try, yellow rose (one of my favorites) 667 (wanted this forever) and stouts and raisins galore.

I can't thank you enough!

Soooooooooo, when can I visit? Hmmmm?

 

Just went to a small "share" that made me feel unworthy... Nick's tag earlier clued me in to a small gathering at his place that I knew was kinda happening but didn't think would really be anything, but decided I'd be able to make. Since I was at work and didn't plan on going anywhere afterwards, I brought nothing in my trunk, but they said show up anyway. I got to have pours of beers like fuckin Fundamental Observation, Vanilla Rye, Bottleworks 16, Rum Barrel Caffe Americano, among other fantastic beers. The generosity of other BAs out there absolutely blows my mind. The fact that I can get a last minute tag while at work as an invite to something I have nothing to bring to the table and nobody bats an eye (even though I bring things to other tables sometimes) is absolutely mindblowing. Again I'm honored to be a part of this group and hope that soon (aka when I have a more stable income) I can send out boxes half as good and bring beers half as worthy to "small" shares like the one I attended today.

Thanks again Nick for inviting me over and to @Devman171 @Weissie @JNForsyth and others whose BA handles I'm not sure of or may have just forgotten for bringing such stellar beers. To show how stand up guys they all are I had a buddy who isn't even on BA and his friend that I knew was at pizza boy and I just kinda side mentioned it at one point and Nick said "call them and tell them to come over" and they both showed up and got to try pours of some of these beers as well, completely unwarranted.

Y'all are "FUKIN" insane and I love it
