Looks like we are staying with family, who live in Chester; the wedding is in Pintail Point. Not sure if that changes any of the suggestions. Don't see any small but stellar brewery hidden around here. But any additional brewery/bar help will be greatly appreciated.

I work in Chester. You can check out a place called the Winery. It has a decent selection that they are trying to grow. A lot of out of date IPAs, but I know they have Nanticoke Nectar in stock. I'm sure you'll be able to find some stuff there that isn't as easy to get in Pittsburgh (Allagash sours, Bruery sours, Maine Beer Co, etc).

Having a surprise visit from the in-laws this upcoming weekend so it looks like I've have to bail on Saturday's tasting. Damn shame as I was looking forward to this, hopefully I can make the next one.

Don't know how I brain cramped on the date but it looks like I will not be able to make it after all. The Army 10 Miler is on Sunday and I do a lot of work with our running group leading the finish line support. That means I'm at the Pentagon Lot all day Saturday doing a volunteer orientation and then there again from 4am until end of the race on Sunday and then off to a wedding. Going to be a very long and exhausting weekend. Kind of like this past weekend but without beer! Sorry!

Yeah, I'll probably be bringing some Pizza Boy crowlers and TH Growlers. Does anyone have anything in particular they'd like me to grab? I was thinking Saisonhands and Hop Hands from Tired Hands and Murren River and maybe something else interesting from Pizza Boy. I could probably make a batch of slow cooked pulled pork if anyone is interested in that

As someone said earlier, hops are needed for balance. And there is absolutely no interested in pulled pork, so you can just give it all to me.

Hop Hands and Murren River should please anyone who hasn't tried them. I wish I could think of something obtainable in my area to bring hoppy-wise. I wish Pizza Boy did crowlers/growlers of Ninja SnIPA, because that was a pretty impressive double IPA. I'm in a pretty dead zone beer-wise of Pennsylvania where there really isn't too much out of the ordinary, and I'm talking, my general area JUST got the basics like Dogfish 60 Minute and Two Hearted Ale. It's a minimum 30 minute drive to get anything good, and even still, those would be a bit basic for a share like this

Reed if his slow cooked pulled pork is even half as good as the pulled chicken he made one time I visited.... we might have to fight over it lol

I'm going to be trying a new pulled pork recipe, but hopefully it will be good :grinning:

It may change before then but they are not doing Crowler fills of Murren River currently. Must be running low on kegs, I assume.

I just grabbed a growler of it on Saturday when I met up with Cody/Devin/Ian/Chris, it's a bummer if that changed :slight_frown:

edit: damn, yeah, on their site it's showing no fills of Murren River. Is there anything else by PB you guys would like me to grab? Maybe Hater's Tears gose? Their Defibrillator Double Bock was pretty good imo, but nothing super insane to bring to a share. Maybe something else by Tired Hands? I'm really open to grabbing anything available there because I really don't have anywhere to get anything super big like you guys are providing, I'd just like to get something that everyone would like to try (and I haven't tried most of PB/TH stuff, so anything is open for me really)

Nick are they just doing no crowlers but still doing glass growlers or no fills at all?

I'll definitely try to bring some other Trillium or Tree House hops to the next one , plus I'll keep those none hoppy beers in the cellar.
