Mostly people who live in or close to Athens, which is fair. I'd love to have JO's in my backyard.

And here I semi-questioned my sanity for making one.

Same here and I would probably go there everyday too, but not to buy 6 BBBMs to go. That seems...what's the word I'm looking for...excessive?

Anyone going to the gamekeepers dinner? Said there is still room for about 25 to 30 people.

Some people have a lot more expendable cash than I. Bought six bottles the other day and that was enough for me.

Expendable cash would be nice, but I wish I had that much expendable time.

I wanted to go, but will be out of town at a country concert that I don't want to go to. The menu looks good and they're supposedly going to have Champion Ground on tap after dessert, so that's cool. Get me six growlers to go, thanks.

By doing pub exclusive they get to keep a little bit extra money which is being used to expand the brewery right out side the tap room .

Hello friends, I'll be in lovely Lancaster this weekend and just realized it's not too far away from Athens. Obviously need to make the trip over to Jackie O's!

Somewhat spoiled by all the options, though... Taproom, BrewPub, Public House... Any thoughts if we could only stop at one place which it should be?

    Cheers!

If you're looking for bottles, taproom. If you want lunch, brewpub. If you want to sample a bunch of drafts, all of the above.

The tap room/brewery has a draft list that still has BBBM and Oro, and carry out bottles/cans (including BBBM). If I were only hitting one, I would stop there. That being said, the brew pub and restaurant are attached to each other and just a few minutes across town. Don't leave without cheese curds.

If you're considering the Public House, make sure to check out their hours as they are usually limited.

I personally enjoy hanging out at the taproom because they always have great beers on tap, including a few barrel aged options. Plus, the to go bottles make it worth the trip alone.

Cheers! Thanks so much for the quick and helpful posts. Really looking forward to the visit (solid cheese curds are always a huge bonus).

I'll be even happier if the barrel aged goodies are somehow still around on Saturday...

Fair warning, it is OU homecoming this weekend so everything is going to be uncomfortably crowded with people wearing green who may or may not have started drinking at 6 am, not unlike St. Patrick's day! I will be one of those people. You may want to stick to the taproom haha. Hoping i can snag another Maple or two while i'm in town.
