Shit gave me the worst heart burn after one sip.
I also poured an old Le Vermontoise from Blaugies/ Hill farmstead last week. Was not a fan.

I heart La Vermontoise but yeah... Habanero Sculpin... horrible!

It was almost two years old. I found it dusted in the back of the cellar, I usually enjoy it as well.

I've gotten diacetyl in that beer before, just wondering how widespread it is. My last few were absolutely fantastic, though. Good luck with the rest. Cheers!

Note what it says there. 'Bourbon barrel staves and natural flavor added'. In other words, 'no actual bourbon barrels were used in the making of this product' -- otherwise known as the Stump Keg Effect.

Ace Pumpkin Cider. (Yeah, technically not a beer.) If I wanted cider to taste like Yankee Candle smells, I'd...wait. I don't. Ever.

My boss told me his favorite beer of all time was Innis and Gunn. Tried both Original and Highland Cask. Drain-poured both. Just not my style. Maybe I'll have to try more oak barrel beers - that might be my issue.

I powered through it, but Nebraska inception series Runnin with the Devil aged in jamaican rum was pretty tough for a while

Hoppy Red from Samuel Adams out of a Samuel Adams glass was a drain pour. Freshly chopped wet rag weeds mixed with asparagus to an overpowering degree is the aroma. I'm too cheap to drain pour and so I literally held my breath and throat poured it. Then I discovered that the bottle contains the overly hopped stank and from the bottle it's fine. So I have to go with Miller Lite as a toilet pour in the mid-1980s. First it mixed with the tequila in my gut and then it reemerged.

couldn't finish my glass of Murphy's Stout draught. i don't mind Guinness draught, although i haven't had one since i've really gotten into craft beer last October.

i drank roughly half then poured out the rest. i still have 3 more 16oz cans but i'll leave them in the fridge, someone will finish it for me (i hope).

after i drank half of the beer I enjoyed a 4pack of GLBC Nosferatu which was fantastic!! big ol' difference, Go Bucks (this was on saturday)

Hate to say it but I drained a Smuttynose Hayseed last night. Bought 4 on clearance for a buck apiece. First one had no carbonation and a gobber floating in it. Second and third were good. Go figure.

I'm with you. That stuff was way too sweet. I did end up drinking the entire 4-pack though.
