Beer near Dodger Stadium

    Hello fellow BA's! I'll be heading to Dodger Stadium to see the Dodgers during game 2 of the NLDS this coming Saturday, October 10th! Looking at google maps, it appears a few spots like Eagle Rock, Angel City, and Highland Park. I've been to Highland Park before and will likely visit it again, but are Eagle Rock and Angel City worth the visit? Any other spots in the area for a good brew and food? Any other tips would be helpful. I know of the usual suggestions like ESBC, Beachwood, and the Anaheim area ones but I'm not sure how far away from the stadium we'll be venturing.

    Might wanna look into Sunset Beer Company, it's fairly close to the stadium. Bottle shop with taps. IIRC there's a Pizza place next door but don't know their food policy as far as outside food.

    First of all go Dodgers! I have enjoyed pre game lunche at Mohawk Bend food was good and beer list was huge (had Pliny and Blind Pig by Russian River on tap as well numerous other top beers that I was afraid I was going to miss the game). Sunset Beer company is also close by with a good tap selection and nice selection of beers to go perhaps for a beer in parking lot.

    The Hermosillo has been my pregame spot lately, but if I want to be closer to the stadium I'll go to Mohawk Bend (great tap list) or Sunset Beer Co. (good taps & bottles).
    I did Angel City & Mumford last time I went to a game and it was just okay.
    I'll be at the game on Friday! Go Dodgers!

    I'll be at Sunset Beer Co. before and probably after game 1 Friday - in all my Mets gear...

    ...Hoping not to get stabbed.

    Is anyone going up from SD for game 1 or 2? Been trying to decide if I'm going to go up alone to cheer on my Mets.

    They just announced the times btw: It's official for Mets-Dodgers: Game 1 starts at 9:45 p.m. on Friday and Game 2 is 9:07 p.m. on Saturday. EST.

    Yeah MLB.com says 6:30pm and 6pm pacific so those times seem legit for first pitch. I will be there Saturday, pregame at Mohawk Bend.

    Yeah, that stabbing nonsense is in sf or anaheim. Dodger fans go for the old school beat down. Go dodgers! Gonna be there Friday night. Glad the mets tanked over the weekend so we got the friday/sat games instead of the weekday ones. Got 2 tickets to Saturday game too. Bm me if interested

    last time i was at sunset i walked in and out (with wine bottles) because there was nothing at all i wanted on tap.. was surprising.. is it hit or miss usually? i'd go to HP every chance i get.. game or no game.

    There is a new spot opening up Called Button Mash its a Retro Arcade/ Craft beer bar..
    Should be opening up withing the next couple weeks..
