False. They regularly make one beer. They sell others throuhgout the year in limited quantities.

    IPA - Heady, Focal Banger
    Stout - Luscious
    Sour - Petit Mutant

I stand corrected. When I looked at their website earlier this year, they said they were focused on making 1 beer.

Which is totaly true. They do maily only make heady but usually put out a couple of other gems throught the year.

    Boulevard -
Stout: Imperial Stout & IS variants
Wild: Love Child series (still have a bottle of #5 & I'm waiting for #6 to be released)
Hoppy: The Calling (one of the best DIPAs I've had due to the balance of the malt and hops)
    Belgian: Sixth Glass
German: If Boulevard started making German style beers (on UCBC's level or above), I might never buy anything else.

I'm sure that many Germans and Brits will be cheesed off, wondering where the bitters, helles lagers, and hefeweizen are.

If they don't make any other lagers than Pivo Pils, then they should!

Oaktoberfest previously (though I think it may just be on hiatus this year). But, I agree, more lagers!

I'd probably go with Firestone Walker but I've only had their Bretta Weisse, I was not that impressed.

My hat's off to Firestone, but on a more local (for me) and equally worthy note, I'll pick Fremont Brewing with its esteemed Coffee Cinnamon Bourbon Abominable, KDS Coffee and its latest, Brew 1000.

I think I lean Surly or Prairie in this one:

Apple Brandy Noir, Funky Gold Mosaic, and Somehwere.

Abrasive, Darkness, and Pentagram from Surly.

i know i'm going against the original post, sorry, but my 3 pillars are Hoppy, Stout/Porter, and Pale Lager/Pilsner.

i'm sure i'm not as well-versed in beers as the OP because i've only had 1 sour and wild ales escape me. i want to try more of these styles but so far no luck.

just throwing my 2 cents out there. based on my 3 pillars i could name quite a few breweries that nail all 3. sorry i'm more basic but i'm still learning, it's all a work in progress.

    -Victory
    -Great Lakes Brewing
    -Sierra Nevada
    -Sixpoint

of course i'm somewhat geographically and experience-wise biased but again, just my opinion

The two are inseparable, sir. Haha.

Boulevard does make a good gose. That's German.

This was the only beer I've had from Firestone that I didn't like.

Quality, consistency and an appreciation for more than wild, stouts and IPAs. My triple threat. My Victory.

    Avery

    IPA: Maharaja
Sours: Pick one. All amazing. I'll go with Raspberry Sour though since it is so readily available.
Stout: Pick one. All amazing. I'll pick Uncle Jacob's though.

Almost went with them, but then remembered I hadn't had their IPAs yet. Heard Afterimage is blowing up as the best new IPA of 2015.

Firestone Walker gets my vote. That said while I would like to try more of their beers, most of the beers that I have had from Blue Mountain in these categories have impressed me.

I'd say that's not far off. Just wait for Pulse Wave to drop this week. They're killing it.

They really are. Double Negative dropped about a year ago around here, and I thought it was solid enough. Then boom: Super Going, Psychokinesis, BA Double Negative, Rainbow Dome, Telekinesis and Cherry Oak Shapeshifter.

I need those IPAs to round it all out.

Damn it, how did I forget about the Hibiscus Gose. Although I was more in reference to German Lagers, not German Ales.
