    First pour of my 30.5% imperial stout homebrew. Bourbon soaked french oak, vanilla beans, cacao nibs, and Mostra's coconut cold brew coffee.

    It's pretty good.

    Good morning BAs! It's 12 apple Wednesday and another day doing small, time consuming, home stuff. Got to pick up a longer ladder to switch some more wiring in the garage, continue work on the indoor turtle setup, sort and ship some more stuff to TX, etc. Today's New Beer Breakfast (NBB) is Hoppin Frog's Hop Heathen, an imperial black IPA. I think this is pretty good and rates right up there with their barrel-aged selections - better than some, not as good as others.

    Morning, BAs. I'm dealing with some moderately shitty news today. In my job, when work and family conflict, it's never the former that gets sacrificed. It will surprise absolutely no one when, four years from now, I punch out and start collecting my pension. The burn out is very real, and I'm very tired of hearing lip service but seeing the same old shit.

    Decided I needed to take a break and get some coffee. Then I decided that if I'm going to go out for coffee, I may as well have some "coffee."

    first beer thx to @Dka67 was shared after work with a buddy, big citrus flavor and at 11.1% had a strong almost vodka back end, the screwdriver version of a beer and very fun

    then came home and watched Age of Ultron with the wife again and had this barrel aged specimen in honor of @5EKF and his new job

    then the unnecessary closer that definitely made getting up and getting the boy ready this morning that much more painful lol
