I never understood why people would want growlers of things they can get in bottles anyway. Aside from the waste aspect aren't bottles just better?

When we were there, we didn't have the kids, but a lady came in with a kid and bought some bottles to go.....so there's that?

How much do you think he spilled trying to get the first sip? Or do you think he did the lean down and slurp to get it lower before picking it up?

I know someone posted on here a while back that DL changed the kid policy when they opened the biergarten, but I can't recall who it was.

My question on their Facebook page is still unanswered though.

@ChurchBrewCrew got it right, it's a Legend of Zelda map.
There was a reason for that. If you don't know what it is, you don't deserve to know
I'll leave that one to your imagination.

I don't recall seeing it here but I was there two weeks ago to make a quick drop off to @brother_rebus and I left my kids in the car thinking they weren't allowed in. The bartender informed me of the policy change but I never consume when I have them with me anyways.

I initially asked because I thought I may have my 5 month old son Friday evening at the release, but he's gonna be chilling with mom instead.

I appreciate the info though. I do wish they would answer the question on their Facebook, that's just good customer service.

Draai Laag is kid friendly. Correctly stated earlier it coincided with the opening of the biergarten out there.

Headed to Pittsburgh for an afternoon/evening. Most likely will stay downtown.

I'd like some steering on best downtown:
    Brewery
    Craft beer pub/bar
    Bottle shop

How mobile are you? You plan on driving a bit or strictly staying downtown?

How mobile you are will be key. If you're not mobile, there's not much if we're being honest.

I understand why ppl take their kids bc they have to but I don't drink with my kids unless I am at home or on vacation.

Sure, we've got BarrelAged #Gratitude on tap at the Brewery, but it's the fraternal twin Small Beer that's new tonight. Brewed from Gratitude's "second runnings" with a generous addition of late addition #Mandarina hops... a new variety for us!This process only yields a few barrels worth, so it won't be with us very long. But as usual, that's mostly up to you.
