If you want to replicate it, it's actually not that hard. You need a regular BCBS, some blackberries and raspberries, and either a Randall or french press.

Muddle a handful of each of the berries, lay it on its side so the fruit coats the side and isn't all at the bottom, pick it up a bit and pour in half of the BCBS, sit it down so the fruit can settle a bit.

Leave this and the other half (still in the bottle) on the counter for about 45 minutes. Strain as much beer out of the Randall/french press as you can into a glass, and pour in the remaining beer.

To jump into the Locals, here is my LIF. I am currently running it in the Fantasy Football BIF but I'll throw in another box in here.

Ok, to keep the spirit of beer going forward, here is my LIF. The Texas Rangers have won the division and are heading to the playoffs. My lif will be this: How many total runs will the Rangers score in the first round against the Toronto Blue Jays. First game will be played Oct. 8th and will run thru the 14th if necessary. Closest to the correct amount wins a box of Texas Locals. In the event of a tie, how many strike outs will the pitching AND bullpen get thru the series. Good luck!

Just FYI for anyone who gets up to HF or will be there in the near future (from their FB page yesterday)

Tomorrow, Weds. 10/7, is the soft opening of our new retail building across the parking area from the original retail shop. The new space is designed for filling growlers and a limited selection of 40cl pours and on-site bottle options (including, but not limited to Civil Disobedience 13). We are eliminating limits on growler fills!

The former retail location will now be open for bottles, glassware and merchandise (we will not be selling bottles and merchandise in the new shop—growlers and glass pours only).

We look forward to welcoming you to our new space! Special thanks to Darren of Leaning Maples Woodcraft for his amazing work on the bar and the continuing projects you'll see when you visit.
