    I haven't seen this listed under the events yet. I was wondering if any other Beer Advocates plan on attending this year? If so, it would be fun to meet some of the Eugene BA crowd.

    I am planning on going this year. It is Matt's last hoorah before heading on his own venture. I look like the guy in my avatar, so feel free to stop me if you see me. I will do the same if I see a wild eyed bearded man attempting to gouge children in a bottle :wink: I think a meeting of the BA crowd would be enjoyable, @John_M are you attending?

    This is one of the premier events in Eugene, so OF COURSE I will be going! :-)

    I'll try to remember to add it the event calendar. Thanks for the reminder.

    You were spot on with wild eyed and bearded! However I plan to keep my gouging to a minimum or maybe just leave it at home.

    It was my first event after moving to Eugene last year. It holds a special place in my heart and my gullet.

    Just moved to Eugene and am going for sure.. I think, as long as something crazy doesn't come up. How does it work? ticketed? pay per pint? Anyways, can't wait, hope I run into some of ya'll.

    Last year's ticket I believe was around 15 dollars and included (Correct me if I'm wrong) an Oakshire Single Batch snifter glass (yours to keep) and five wood tokens in the glass to use for fills. I believe glass fills were between 4 and 8 ounces. I think it was a dollar a token after.

    @BigfootBaby has it right. It should be 4oz pours per token, and double down for 8oz. I posted on their FB event page to see if they have a list of beers for the event yet. Waiting on a response.

    Do we have any thoughts on when/where/how to meet up or just wonder around until we think we recognize an avatar. If you haven't met @John_M yet, he doesn't look like his avatar at all.

    Well, we could start a private message thread and include our respective pictures. Not sure how you guys feel about that. I remember last year being low light and busy and loud. Could be hard anyway to pick each other out of a crowd.

    What's everyone's plans for attending? I won't be there all day as the wife and kids will want to see me at some point that day. I will most likely be there closer to opening to get the best beers first, shorter lines, and less drunk fools spilling beer all over the place and declaring their love to total strangers compared to later in the night. I'll most likely be out of there around dinner time...

    Well, for me time is no issue since Michigan football has a bye week Saturday. I may show up at opening to get the best beers first, leave to eat dinner, then come back for the romp.

    Would like to, but not this year. Hoping 2016 holds a lot more Western OR beer travel, including an Oakshire event.

    Need to clear it with the wife for sure, but hoping to be there at 11 when they open the gates. Seeing that it is Matt's last huzzah I'll want to chat with him before the crowds get too huge.
