    My kids really enjoy hitting breweries with me. They especially like to sneak down the back door at Brew Gents and mess with the gauges on the brewing equipment.

    24 errors on the season at first. Next closest among NL first basemen were Rizzo and Votto with 9. In a one and done, I can pretty easily see why he didn't start him.

    Flawed logic. Everyone knows this is going to be a low scoring game and runs are going to be at a premium. Hurdle put together a defensive lineup, needed to put out an offensive lineup. Cant win if you dont score. Oh yea and let all drink beers cuz its going to be another long offseason

    Downtown, like in most cities, is office buildings. You'll need to be willing to drive/Uber a few miles to get anything good.

    If s rod has an error and we lose bc of it I don't know how hurdle keeps his job but if he hits a two run homer he will be a hero for life in Pittsburgh a huge gamble and I believe it is the wrong one

    By that same logic, one could argue that because it's going to be a low scoring affair, you would need solid defense to avoid giving away runs.

    EDIT: I should add that I think Alvarez blows and is a major liability in spite of his power. Power is the only thing he brings to the table. Plus, he's a career 2-17 against Arrieta.

    No one has good numbers against him on the team but Pedro does have the only home run against him on the team. Just to say he has power is wrong he has the second highest ops on the team. He has 27 home runs with limited at bats. His defense is horrible but the Pirates lead the league in errors it is just not him let's not forget to two errors s rod had to lose a game this year.

    It makes a lot of sense. You can pinch Alvarez in for S Rod whenever you want if you get down.

    S rod would not start on 20 teams in the league at first base. He would not be on the field for any playoff teams stupid move he has not started at first since July why play him tonight if all nights.

    Hurdle is playing not to lose but not to win horrible coaching decisions all year he cost us the division with horrible line ups
