There are beers on the LB board on the far right out of the frame.. why must you do this to me Beachwood?!?!

 

I was at the Seal Beach restaurant on Tuesday an they had a great tap list. The owner Gabe was there and he was walking around saying hello and being friendly to the guests. Its so nice to see an owner so down to earth and still engaged in his business and customers. I've been to so many places that even the servers whose pay depends on gratuity yet act like they're doing you a favor buy selling you "their food and beer." This place gets the idea of service.

 

Gabe really is a class act. He's poured me a beer and chatted with me at the Long Beach location, and I almost always see him helping out with the big bottle releases

 

Correct, Torst has the only other Flux Capacitor in existence. It's about half the size of the Beachwood LB one. If Mikkeller SF has one, its not visible to the public.

 

I had to look that up, this Flux Capacitor sounds awesome.

I'm shooting for the same time, probably closer to 10:30 since it's a looong drive. Any updates on the tap list/specifics though?

 

I haven't heard anything - I just know it's labeled under Shelton Brothers. So we should get some nice things.

I was talking about 10/10:30 am...

I'm sure there will be a line... this way I can get lunch when it opens and then sip on some stuff until the big guns come out.

Plus, I need to pick up some homebrew supplies for Sunday. So I'll have time to do my thing.

No worries, it's completely excessive on my end to go a that time, I realize that, but I really enjoy these events and the beer scene is insane nowadays. So I'd rather be safe.

 

Wow this whole Beachwood thing is a real mess. How do you guys know it starts at 6pm? I thought it just starts when they open...So in this case, since my drive is pretty long (Redlands), what time do you guys think I should get there in order to get inside (assuming there is a line) by 6pm?

 

@Doomsayer52 no man I'm like you and I wanna make sure I can get some those crazy beers too that's why I appreciate you clearing that up so I know what to expect and know what time I should get there to be safe hahah.

@grze if you go on the beachwood website the main page has the taplist and the events page has the times. Hope that helps. Also, I'm in the same boat as you in deciding what time to get there. I was thinking of getting there around 4 but now I might reconsider.
