From the Draai Laag site. A little bonus for the Plague release Friday.

    Friday, October 9th...Caliente Pizza-FREE starting at 7pm!

Never had it...so I can't comment on the pie.

Also, Jacked Up O’Lantern Stout is on at Roundabout.

FWIW, I really like Caliente's Pizza.

Just saw that GLBC is offering a different small batch barrel-aged offering for each day of Cleveland Beer Week.

Just saw this new Brewery in Oakdale in the recently added places http://www.heliconbrewing.com/

Seems to be a cool barn concept from their FB posts anyone have any info on them? Can't remember their names coming up in discussion here

If I'm not mistaken, that's the guy Andy talked about who's big within TRASH.

Caliente's pie isn't nearly as bad as 95% of the pizza in Pittsburgh.
That being said, compared to real world pizza, it's kinda sub par.
I will however eat whatever free pizza is put infant of me.

Is that like a "my band is big in Japan" thing?

Thanks for the South Hills headsup. Will bounce over later today. See any Victory Vital or Harvest?

This has become commonplace with my kids as well--not just at BG, but especially when traveling.

Not really the forum here for it, but for any of you Pittsburgher's out there, something came up and my fiancee and I are unable to attend the dinner reservations that we had at Tako tomorrow evening at 6:00 pm (for a table of 2). You have to make reservations for this place pretty far out in advance, so if anyone was interested in going in our place, let me know. Just wanted to throw that out there before I officially cancelled.

On a beer related note, I might make a solo appearance at Draai Laag for the beer release tomorrow, depending on circumstances. Any of yinz guys going?

I'll be there, just trying to decide when I should arrive. 6:45 is my current target. Will be really interested to see how it goes.

Same here. I read that the last time they sold bottles they went quick, but I'm sure there were not as many as the 300 they are putting out tomorrow. I'm really am interested in trying The Plague. I've only had a few beers from Draai Laag, but I enjoyed each and every one I've had.

I'd mentioned him/them a few weeks back. Starting with a 20 bbl system.

The last release I call them doing was the Briar bottles. They had all three, but I have no idea how many of each. They did limit one per person of each variety and, as I recall, they were sold out sometime on Saturday.

Trying to find my motivation to go to the Plague release. I'd love to try the beer, but motivation currently is at a minimum.

They did La Pienture about six weeks back. One 4pk limit. Lasted 15min. Idk the limit though.
I tried it on draft and wasnt as disappointed about missing it. Pretty acetic. The red briar I had was much better. Mellowed and sweet and tart opposed to its base.

This was the release I was thinking of, and I think it was on a Friday at 6:00 pm. I read they were sold out like you said, within 15-30 minutes. Hopefully that's not the case this time around, but if it is at least Caliente on Saturday is a backup option.
