Notable Releases - DC/NOVA/MD

Rumpkin is out in NoVA -- Lost Dog in Westover has it for about $16/bottle.

 

New releases of note (this week and last): Stone Enjoy By 10/31/15, Bruery Tonnellerie Rue, Bruery Gypsy Tart, 4 Hands Cash Money.

 

Whenever I see 4 Hands on the shelf, it all just blends together. Super Flare was good, but I think I had it on tap. The bottles I've seen haven't had dates. And Contact High was OK, but not great.

Is Cash Money bottles or cans? Sounds like it's worth a try.

 

I thought 4 Hands Cuvee Ange was great, I wish it was avaialble in VA.

 

Anyone know of any farm to face or cuvee d'industrial still hanging around?

 

4 Hands Ca$h Money is good, had some last year. Where can I find it in DC?

 

Any brewery releases November 5-7?

 

Shawan has Ca$h Money in 22oz bottles. As of last night it was all the way in the back on the floor, unopened box. I didnt recognize the "CM" mark on the side of the box, but now I know.

Still haven't seen Bell's 30th Anniversary anywhere. If anyone sees it in NoVA/MoCo please let me know.

 

Farm to Face is at the Anne Arundel spots. Dawson's said they only got 6. Also out here is Stone Enjoy By and IRS, and Bells 30th and Expedition.

On a separate note, is 4 Hands in DC or MD?

 

4 Hands just in DC, I believe. Cash Money in bottles, and while it's not dated, this looks to be pretty fresh (it's a seasonal that they're still selling at the brewery).

 

Not sure about MD, but seen some 4 Hands stuff in the DC area

 

anyone see orange whip or ocelot home on tap anywhere (pref. in the district)

 

I haven't seen home since the last time they had it at the brewery it a good few months ago.

 

Home should be long gone by now. And if you saw it, I'd drink it with the understanding it's several months old.

Ocelot beers you should be looking for: Reissue Mosaic (all Mosaic pale ale), Never Ending Maze (Nelson/Citra DIPA), and Watch me Disappear (Simcoe/Citra IPA)

As for Orange Whip, haven't seen it outside the brewery in several months.

 

Have to echo Reissue Mosaic. Outrageously delicious, by far my favorite of the 10 or so Ocelots I've tried.

 

4 Hands generally makes an appearance in MD although you have to know where to look. Haven't seen Cash Money though.

 

Orange whip this Wednesday at the brewery during "Get Whipped". $8 for a stein of orange whip, plus you get to keep the stein. One day only tho
