    Morning BA's Just got home and am officially starting a long weekend (Canadian Thanksgiving). Decided to try a new beer this morning Beau's B-side brewings Kissmeyer Nordic Pale Ale. Nose is hoppy slightly hazy golden color poured a decent head, Cheers![​IMG]

    A needed beer after a 17 hour drive. This held up well in the fridge while I was gone. Time to do some unpacking after three weeks, nine states, and almost 6000 miles. I miss the scenery, but it's good to be home again. Happy weekend to all!

    Good morning/good night. Drinking again in my new favorite craft beer bar in Melbourne, AU. So far, my new mates behind the bar let me sample some really bad beers they got today from a prospective distributor for fun - yuk! Had to clean my mouth out with only the second pull from a keg from Stone - Ruination at $25 a pint! First American beer in 7 weeks. I paid $15 AU for 8 oz pour...and AU has been cheaper than NZ...we have no idea how well we drink in USA compared to what people pay on this side of the world!

    Good morning BAs! A post rain morning here (more like a sprinkle) so it'll be overcast and cold most of the day. The apples keep falling but only had 15 today. The yellowjackets (and white-faced hornets) are now concentrated at the end of the garden where I dump the apples. Mrs Lizard is going to some quilt thing this morning so I'll have the house to myself for a couple of hours. Today's New Beer Breakfast is:

    Personally, I think Merry Monks is greatly superior to Golden Monkey - the monkey keeps trying to climb back up my esophagus!

    Had this one late last night. Erdinger Urweisse. Very (very!) mild banana aromas, which was appreciated as I don't fancy them too much, and a great mouthfeel. Produced a crazy amount of head which was fun to fight through in order to get to the liquid underneath.
