I have only had the 2nd batch and it is quite good. I heard B1 was rough so I never bothered to track it down.

I really enjoy Roundabout's hoppy stuff, especially Hyer-PA. I really wish Unnatural Love would make a reappearance. Ginga Wheat is one of my favorite summer beers, and I am swinging by tomorrow to get my growler of Jacked-Up-O-Lantern. The biggest deterrent for me is time and it is not convenient for me to get there. I am happy they are an option in the Pgh scene.

This. I loved that beer when fresh. Only criticism is that it seemed to fade super rapidly...a la hopslam.

Nard-Dawg is a boss, but sadly, nothing will help them. Pitt athletics are such a joke. SPARTY ON.

It was ridiculously good. When I saw it won at GABF I sent my wife to get me a growler because I saw they had it on tap. I downed that and continued to send it until it was kicked lol. I had it a couple times afterwards, once at Fat Heads and once at the House of 1K beers. I do not know why it can't be replicated, but both the Roundabout versions and the Church versions have fallen short. The b2 of Roundabout's is pretty tasty, but it is not nearly as good as the original one. Queue "Glory Days" playing in the background....

Are we adding "ho-hum" to the list of douchey beer appraisals? Meh, Solid, Decent, Ho-Hum, kill me...

    Pretty much this.

I don't think roundabout has lost anyone's interest. They're packed everytime I go and they still churn out solid IPA. Pacific ring is the best Nelson hopped brew around, though I'm pumped to try the new BG Nelson beer.

I liked the Berliners, I know I tipped a few back while chatting with @jeevo this summer.

What's wrong with a 5 percent abv stout? People are going crazy for Mr Automatc. When an American stout is done well it's killer. Look at Bells Kalamazoo or Voodoo BoC. Shit at my age I dig lower abv offerings. I would love to see a high gravity stout from Steve, but due to conditioning time it may be a capacity issue.

I was going to mention this, but Greg beat me to it. I will be stopping by and grabbing a growler of this myself. Somehow totally missed it last year, might of had something to do with me moving? Am probably more excited about this than The Plague, but will be heading over there for that one as well.

    Are those the actual prices?

I really enjoy Jacked up. I believe he didn't brew it last year and he may have mentioned that in the release info.

They do list prices online I believe. I am going to the brewery tomorrow and asked some local OH guys and they do not fill 32 oz in either OH location.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I would gladly sit at a brewery that makes good versions of styles that are becoming increasingly more unpopular. I love me some milds, Koelsch, Maerzen, etc.

I've only been to Roundabout once, but I liked Pacific Ring IPA, thought the Oktoberfest was a good example, and Jacked Up became my favorite "pumpkin" beer.

Sampled a couple things I didn't care for, but I look forward to going back.

Could I love this post instead of just like it? I've met most of you at some point or another and you all have too many teeth to be using "yinz."

I generally prefer lower ABV pale beers and higher ABV darker beers. If I'm sitting down with a stout, I'm not intending on drinking one after another after another. I want something to sip on rather than drink multiples of like a pale ale or pilsner.
