    Right next door at the Escondite...I believe you can order and have it brought over to Mumford. Honestly, if the beer selection at Escondite is good, it's a much better place to hang. Was at Mumford recently and the beers were pretty bad. Although not as bad as the lame ass soft pretzel we ordered there. Yuck.

    I was there last weekend - thought it was a pretty cool place, but not exactly a prime beer spot. Tap list was pretty good (gypsy tart, prairie saison, etc) but stuff was expensive, the focus was more on wine, and it was super dark. Feels a bit like El Prado down the street - good place to go with a wine drinker, good place to meet people (if that's what you're looking for), but not going to be a new go-to beer bar or anything.

    Ugh. The bats need to wake up! I hate that the blame falls all on Kershaw. He pitched well, but deGrom was better.
    Back to beer... I stopped by the Stone Company Store in Pasadena & The Hermosillo before the game, didn't get a chance to do Mohawk since I wanted to get in early to beat the rush.
    Go Away IPA (Stone) is damn good.. a nice, clean, regular IPA.
    At HPB - Hello, LA (my favorite), 1UP, Neon, Pushin' Carts, All the Yeast all on tap, you will not be disappointed.

    Ended up at Mohawk bend last night before the game. Was a great spot for food and beer and not a bad walk to the stadium after.

    Sad. The postseason crowd is a lot like the giveaway game crowd. There's a lot of casual fans -- including tough guys, who don't understand that it's just a game. Mix that with a lot of drinking and this is what happens. There should be more outrage over this than the Utley slide.

    Utley slide was dirty, but not news. Fan getting beat in the parking lot for the second time in just a few years is news. And a reason for MLB to look into security as to what is going on in that parking lot
