Meaning, did it come out on Black Friday, or earlier in the week?

I will be staying at my fathers for thanksgiving this year, and I want to plan my attack for the stout and maybe some variants! Will be with my brother in law, and we are both interested.

We will be in rehoboth beach. Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

Usually DE gets it after Black Friday. I didn't really track any down last year (went to Philly), but the year prior it hit shelves 1st or 2nd week of December.

Honestly, I don't recall when it was available. I do know that DE did not get any variants last year and Total Wine had the best price (~$20; 4-pack limit). Happy hunting!

It hit Delaware about two weeks after Black Friday. I was able to scrounge almost a full case between several different stores. As @singlespeed mentioned, Total Wine was $20 for the 4pk, but they never put it on the floor. I had to call and then when I got to the store, the employee had to pull it from the back. Some places, like Frank's in DT Wilmington, were charging $10 for a single. I haven't heard any word on how this year will work in DE but will update you if I do.

Two years ago we go some coffee and bramble, last year was just BCBS. I want to say we didn't get them until the second week in December and the places I checked sold out same day.

I'm kind of hoping it's the same this year - I'll be flying home from Florida on Black Friday so I'll miss the release if it's that day.

I'm guessing it will be, just hoping we get variants this year!

That would be nice. I was lucky enough to score a Coffee and BW in PA last year.

Nice, I was only able to get 2 BCBS at Stare Line. At least places a few places have gotten kegs.

The hoops I had to jump through to get my 2 bottles from State Line last year completely turned me off. Taking my chances in Philly this year.

If you stay in touch with your local DE shops, you should be able to score some without much problem. Some places do lists pre-release, others are first-come, first-served. This goes for BCBS, not sure if any variants will hit DE this year.

I heard a horrible rumor the other day that Total Wine might have the exclusive rights to Bourbon County this year and that NKS might not be getting any.

Anyone heard anything on this? Anyone know if it is coming and where?

I figured this would be easier for all of us DE peeps.

    Cheers, Matt

Has anyone heard the rumor that NKS is not getting as much because Total Wine is getting majority. Just something a local down here at the beach said and was trying to confirm.

    Cheers, Matt

I don't know how much Total Wine is getting but TW Claymont just posted this event for Black Friday:

Join us at our store for a special Goose Island Bourbon County event. Festivities begin at 8 a.m., and we recommend showing up a bit earlier. But no matter what, don't be late!

The link goes to goose island and I see nothing about events. Did I miss it?

Didn't realize that GI was a hyperlink. The event listing was just that they were opening at 8am and that BCBS would be available. No other details (variants, limits, price) were given.
