Been wanting to get one of these for a while now , I'm a huge Coffee stout fan and would love to try it.
When does this get released and or are they still making it ?

    I've read that it's a Fall seasonal.

Mildly off topic, but if you can get your hands on Sante Fe Brewing's Java Stout, its excellent (and comes in cans), and seems to be available year-round.

Would if I could. We get SF here in Austin, but not the Java Stout. Local beer guy told me the distributor balked on it - didnt think anyone would buy it here. Idiot. I had to go to New Mexico just to get myself a 6.

maybe this has changed, but i was at CW brewery a few months ago. bartender said they brew it often for on tap at the brewery, and every once in awhile bottle it and ship it out. so im not sure if its a true seasonal, or if they really just send it out whenever they feel like it.

either way, amazing beer. one of the best coffee forward stouts ive ever had!

It is an absolutely brilliant beer. While it possesses a huge fresh coffee flavor, it avoids being one-note and really shows how a coffee stouts can in fact be a deeply complex style of beer. If you get the chance it is a must try. In my less than humble opinion (as if anyone who said "in my humble opinion" were actually humble) it blows Founders Breakfast Stout out of the water.

This is a fantastic beer, the best coffee stout I've ever had. I haven't seen it in 4-packs in Illinois yet. Hopefully they will ship some here soon.

I actually haven't had this one. Is it the base beer for Peruvian Morning? Can't really find notes. I'm guessing not since I thought PM used Peruvian beans, but I could be wrong.

I thought the base for pm was either satin solstice or something close to it.

    Slap me if I'm wrong

I believe Satin Solstice is the base for the BA beers. It's the best coffee beer I've ever had, and one of the best beers I've had regardless of style; and I don't drink coffee.
