Considering Thanksgiving was like the 27th, that makes sense...

I can tell you there wasn't a drop to be found in Gloucester or Camden Counties by a week before Christmas.

And the summer ales should be out in time for new years. It gets worse every year.

Actually, doesn't celebration start hitting shelves near the end of this month?

I don't doubt that, South Jersey (aka pretty much Philly) likes the stuff much more than North Jersey. I thought it was only West Deptford that held the release until Black Friday and released it all at once.

Price? Had it on tap a few years back and it was a cough syrup mess. That was at 1am though so I want to try it this year. $16 a six?

    Enjoy

I need to replace my broken Mad Elf snifter. Hopefully they will release the holiday gift again this year.

Possibly the worst semi-hyped beer I have had! Cherry cough syrup.....pass.

I think Celebration hits shelves around the first week of November if I remember correctly.

Well, it'll still be around into December, so it's not like it disappears by Thanksgiving. It's also not a beer that needs to be consumed fresh, so it's perfectly fine to buy some now, and sit on it for a couple of months.

Yes, West Deptford was usually the store that held it back. It will be interesting if that store does its Black Fri tradition being that they have a new guy running the beer area.

Anyone know if they're releasing the Jeroboams this year?

This brew rules, 2014s still rocking the shelves here; anyone got some recent reviews on how this beer ages? I love it fresh & would be interested to hear some opinions; even though I do plan on doing the comparison myself.

I'm drinking a 2014 right now. I got two cases off route 30 outside Lancaster PA on the way back from a weekend trip last October, for 50 bucks each. A much better price than I can get locally. I gave some away, drank a bunch, and stored almost 12. This is the second I've had since the chill has come back to the area and it is divine if you don't mind the sweetness. The nose has a seductive booziness, but at this point, the taste is so smooth and the cherries are in full force, and the alcohol is all but buried. Dangerous, yet full of the potential for unforgettable moments of whimsy. I will surely be purchasing enough of this each year to store some away for future years.

Very much looking forward to this year's batch  and always very happy to buy holiday beers with an "Elf" on the beer's label and title!

I drink one bomber every year, sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It DOES sit on shelves here for quite a while, never in any real hurry to grab it. Reminds me of the holiday season.

I currently have a bottle of last years cellaring... Curious how it will compare to fresh, I may have to pick one up and do a side-by-side.
