We need at least 2 more people for round 2 (already had winners in 4 weeks, so going to start again) This is probably the easiest sports BIF there is, you don't have to do anything. Yoou will get a team assigned to you, if that team scores 33 points you win. You will also be shipping to a 33 winner at some point. It's a lot of fun...

Had a great time ticking a new handshake and tracking down some quality taps with @JNForsyth tonight...most breweries in Chicago are closed on Monday. Hit the mother ship first, unfortunately no BC on tap for the Cubs game. Does look like the Big Train release will be coming any day though...

After the game we ended up at a quality beer bar Local Option...bonus prize was a lot of leftover sours from their sour party yesterday.



I gotta say that Pear Bear was pretty damn good...

Abraxas has been one that has eluded me for quite awhile now. Can't wait to crack into that one! Also Recurrant? Pretty sure this is my first WW with that style label. Looks awesome. And the cans...oh sweet delicious cans.

Damn guys, @Mipper's share is turning into Locals Share 1.5! I'm very unlikely to make it but I haven't yet given up trying to get a babysitter. Wish me luck!

 

That's their Canvas Series. Basically all of their one-offs that aren't in the Angel Series. Some are awesome, some are good, some are... mediocre. Recurrant has been one of my favorites. Let me know if you like it and are interested in others. While I probably wouldn't be able to get Recurrant for you (they rarely brew the same Canvas Series again I believe), there's plenty of others in the series (for example, I have La Bonte bottles with three different fruits, Pears, Plums, and Figs...).
