Pittsburgh - New Beers & Local Breweries

When I left last night around 9, they had about 10 cases left.

On a similar note, I was pleasantly surprised with Caution!. The pumpkin was very subtle, and the beer reminded me a lot of Cigar City's Hunahpu, just not as spicy.

Would love to do this if they would let us, but like dtx said, e2 is a pretty popular place, especially on the weekends for brunch (which is absolutely amazing by the way). And they are closed in the afternoon between brunch and dinner.

I don't think it will last past tomorrow to be honest with you, unless you go to the Meadeville location. Someone said earlier in the thread that the Pittsburgh location had around 25+ cases.

 

@RyanMcFly1985 all I know is Homestead had 42 cases. Perhaps @tommyguz can chime in on what he knows for Meadville.

First time checking out the new Voodoo location since moving back to Pittsburgh. Really cool spot. Enjoyed Caution! as much as last years and was pleasantly surprised by Big Secret Pizza Party!

I sent them an email and we will see how it plays out. Maybe if it was worthwhile to them we could fit into the time between brunch and dinner...

 

@RyanMcFly1985 when I got my 2 bottles prior to them closing at 8 PM. It looked as if they went through maybe a dozen cases. They were only open 3-8 so I imagine more people would be getting theirs today / tomorrow. I may swing down today at 3 when they open to check it out.

I think that's the point of this beer. To not be an overly pumpkin spice bomb. At least that's my take based on the description on the bottle.

 

Yeah I think if you got to Meadville by Wednesday maybe even Thursday, you'd be ok, but I imagine Homestead will be long gone by then, seems people on here said they flew through cases yesterday.

They also have it on tap at both locations regardless, had one yesterday. Good stuff, regardless of getting bottles or not

 

I don't see myself getting out there this week. It's Cleveland Beer Week so we have some can't-miss events out here along with other life stuffs. If it made it to Saturday or Sunday then I'd try to come out, but I know that's not gonna happen.

 

Gonna duck out of work a little early today so I can be in Homestead when they open.

 

Send me a Vanilla Rye and I will go pick one up for you :-D
