I'll be in Baltimore next Saturday, 10/24 and was wondering if Double Duckpin would be available to pick up someplace. I'd love to go to Union Craft, but their hours will keep me from making it there. Looks like a few places on Beer Menus show up as having it recently, but I have really no idea of its general availability (or lack thereof).
Others may be able to provide more information, but I've seen Double Duckpin a decent amount in Montgomery County. Based on that, I'd assume you'd be able to find it in Baltimore.
Last batch of Double Duckpin came out in late August, so you're going to have a hard time finding cans anywhere at this point, plus it won't be super fresh if you do. Beer is usually released ~every 3 months, so I'm guessing there won't be a new batch released before next Saturday. You might be able to find it on tap somewhere though.
I believe Pinehurst Wine Shoppe still has double duckpin. I'll check tonight. https://www.beermenus.com/places/5924-pinehurst-wine-shoppe-baltimore - you can call too if you want before you go
Duckpin is year round so should be able to find it pretty easily. I think the Gose is a summer only beer so supplies may be drying up but you can probably still find it. I haven't seen it recently but then again I haven't really been looking for it either. If you can find it pick it up, I enjoyed a lot of it over the summer.
Yup, we'll be in town for the PSU game. Parking looks on the expensive and inconvenient side so considering parking at Patapsco Station and taking the light rail to the stadium. Solid plan or am I just overthinking it? Need to get to near Lot O to tailgate.
Not sure what you consider expensive but I was able to get a parking pass for the game from the Ravens office directly for $45 last week. At the time L&M lots were still available.
there should def be parking spots left through ravens. and most places in bmore should have both union beers. let me know if you can't find them
Parking seems to be in the $40 range if you want a spot in one of the stadium lots. I understand it's a city and an NFL venue so comparing it to the $100 I pay for season parking at PSU isn't apples to apples, but still. Ultimately I'll probably pay it for the convenience, but figured I'd check into other options as well.
I would not take the light rail from Patspsco Station. Not the best area of the city to go through. You should be able to find parking in the $25.00 range at one of the garages around the stadium.
Good to know. I live in Philly so a little grit wouldn't be an issue, but I'm also not trying to act out The Wire.
