They also make great French Press beers with the lack of carb.

Just had the Rye over the weekend. Still flat. Still delicious. No complaints from anyone who had it.

it's going to be in downtown LA bro. i heard it from a BA on here who said it was going to be even though he had no proof to substantiate his claim

As a member of the original League who is still active, I think Jacob and the MT team have gone over-and-beyond in terms of continuing to grant us early release benefits 2+ years following the brewery opening. As much as I enjoy my secret VIP status (tipped off only when I get my League growler fills), I support the decision to re-boot the League especially if it results in more MT social activities and benefits for a larger group of supporters.

It would be cool if there was some sort of special benefit for original League members to signify our OG status (special growler or other merch?) within the new group..... kind of like the O'Brien's "mug club" members, i've always liked the idea of rewarding early supporters like that.....

I assume (hope?) he'd allow us to continue using our original 32oz growlers. Anything new to signify OG status seems like it could be a bit of a hassle considering how few of us apparently still purchase bottles. Something like a special OG bottling run when the first League ends would be very cool but a big enough task that it seems unrealistic.

yeah, i think a special bottle run would be a big hassle.... i was thinking more along the line of a simple variant of a perk that might be included for new members; like if they did new League growlers, maybe do a small batch with a slightly different design (maybe a big "OG League" on the front). hopefully we can still use the original League growlers too....

MT always have such cool merch, I am sure they could think of something fun and creative to give a hat-tip to the founding League that wouldn't be too expensive (growler coozie, special FREAKER, carry bag, glassware, etc.).... or maybe just have a Founder's Mug Club a la O'Briens.... or maybe just waive the new League membership fee for us :astonished:

i trust they will do something cool regardless, glad I've been able to support them since those early days!

New batch of Neverwhere is phenomenal. Closest thing you can get to Rayon Vert. BOTTLE IT.

I will second that. Having it right now. It's an awesome beer. Neverwhere might be my favorite hoppy beer from modern times. Juicy, clean, smooth with a touch of grapefruit, funk and pear on the back end. Complex and balanced yet easy drinking. Could drink this all day

If any of you live around Carlsbad and wanted to get a Fruitlands go by Country Wine & Spirits (El Camino). I picked up a bottle this weekend and they had a handful more.

Just saw those 3L on IG.... @ModernTimesJacob please tell us if those will ever be available to public. I have a feeling it may have something to do with the League members...
