For me, it was the one and only time I ever saw TenFIDY where I'm at. Already had $200 worth of beer loaded up and didn't want to put any back and didn't have enough with me. Went in the next day and it was wiped out. That was about six months ago and I haven't seen any since.

So, any beers you guys passed on and later went back for only to never see it again?

I once went beer shopping with a list so I knew exactly what I was getting and had a budget for. While perusing the aisles I came across BA Old Rasputin. I wanted to get it but told myself I'd get it next time.....Needless to say it wasn't there a few days later......

Ouch. This doesn't really count, but I was in my local shop once and saw a hipster handling and then dropping the last Black Note.

    The grudge is real.

I had a mystic spectral evidence 2014. it was delicious. every time I went into the bottleshop there was still some on the shelf but at 17.00 I just didn't get another even though there would be no more. then I decided I would get another, and you know it, GONE!

I did it with Goose Island Sophie. Passed on it more than once because I hadn't really delved into farmhouse ales yet. It seems like ever since AB-InBev purchased them, even though I live in Illinois, most of the Goose Island beers I can get now are made in New York or Colorado @ AB-InBev breweries. Don't see many beers brewed by Goose Island in Chicago even though I'm only a little more than a few hours away.

I pass on Sofie and Matilda all the time. Not sure how they hold up, but I'll likely grab them both eventually since they don't seem to be moving where I'm at.

Just never been big into the style.

Probably Dogfish World Wide Stout. I believe it was three years ago or so in Pittsburgh that I came across it multiple times at the same store... I did eventually pick up only one and had it, of course, but I never realized how difficult it was to get until a friend couldn't believe I got any of it... Have not seen it since! Wish I had grabbed a couple at least now.

I passed on WWS because the bottle had a $10 price tag on it. Definitely one of my regrets today

I passed on A Patridge in a Pair Tree. Saw it on the shelf that year and didn't think it sounds like my thing. Kicked myself for a while a couple years later.

I was at a wonderful bar restaurant in South Carolina on vacation and the place just so happen to be doing a Founders takeover. They had KBS, CBS, Aged Blushing Monk, and a few more. I was running low on money (Spring Break in college), so I was only able to grab a tulip of KBS. Really wish I went for the CBS in hindsight..

BA Narwhal. It was sitting on the shelf for weeks and I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend $20 on it. Then it was all gone. I'll be super pissed at myself if it doesn't sit this time round and I have to hunt for it.
