3 Floyds releases Amber Smashed Face red ale

I think it's a cool label but they look like just normal corpses. Where's the proof they are cannibalistic?

 

I was extremely excited to see that they released this. I had heard this was in the works. Great artwork by Vince Locke. Cannibal Corpse rules! Now the hard part: actually getting a bottle.

 

This guy looks like he's having a feast all on his own.

 

Does anyone know what the actual ABV of this beer is? BA says 7.8, but Untapped says 6.66. I can't find anything anywhere else. Three Floyds doesn't list the ABV on their site. Thanks!

 

Local tap list states 7.8. Untappd is highly unreliable for things like that.

I managed to get a bottle. I haven't tried it yet, but everyone who's tried it says it's awesome.

This beer brings the "hammer". I love this over hopped amber. You can still find it in stores around Indy. Buy one if you see it. I hope this is not a one and done.

 

Great beer and if you have ever had Nugget Nectar, it is similar.

 

Binny's Grand location still has several cases of this if anyone is interested.

 

What are people paying for this one?

 

$8 at the brewery. Retail stores seem to be 9.99 and up.
