    Just tried to plan a trip to VT and got shot down by my girlfriend. First question after pitching the trip: "is this trip about beer, or us?"

    my gf is okay with beer trips as long as wine is involved :slight_smile: I sweeten the deal. We can go to so and so brewery and so and so wine bar

    When I drink every day, I have a tendency to not got to the gym. When I go to the gym for 8-12 weeks in a row and lift with purpose and a plan, I always feel and look a LOT better, simply because I am not drinking during this time. Also, when I drink every day, I eat way less and lose a lot of weight via muscle mass.

    Wanting shots or a couple fingers glass pour of scotch or whiskey accompanying my beers, regardless of style & ABV.

    I guess mine is buying too much beer. Sometimes I have up to 300+ in the fridge and a 200 on deck. I prolly spent $800 in Denver during the GABF week! So much beer and so little time!

    Stopping to see "whats new" friday after work. Inevitably I buy beer that isnt new, but I have been wanting to try.

    I crave a cigar with a good imperial stout....old habits are hard to kick.....sadly the imperial stout is my favorite brew.

    I say I'm only gonna have 4-6 beers/week, but many times go over that. I try to stay fit and eat healthy, but beer is damn good.

    My lunch spot is right next to my bottle shop. I put my sammich order in and go check out the beer selection next door. Then I go to another place when I put my paycheck in the bank. I looked in the fridge tonight and realized I need to drink these beers instead of collecting them.

    Same here for 10 yrs then I just up and quit totally. It was actually easy kinda like a unsophisticated step down plan.
